Altice Prepaid Plans

An important thing to remember is that just because you are getting a low-cost deal, that does not mean you are sacrificing quality. With Altice using the AT&T and Sprint networks you will still get their great quality, but with a much cheaper cell phone plan.

If you are shopping for an MVNO then cost is key. With competitive pricing, you can also bring your own phone and keep your number.

There is also an exclusive price for any current Suddenlink or Optimum customers.

However, there are other MVNO providers like Tello, Mint Mobile, and Red Pocket Mobile that offer more variety with their low-cost plans.

Altice Coverage

As Altice runs on the Sprint and AT&T network you will get the same reliability and coverage as customer's on these networks.

If you are new to either of these networks, you can check coverage in your area with the Sprint or AT&T coverage map.

When it comes to Sprint, according to OpenSignal, Sprint customers get a 4G signal 85.7% of the time, which places them fourth out of the main four networks, but as long as you don't live in a remote rural area you should get a good signal. AT&T is placed in third place with customers receiving a 4G signal 87% of the time.

Altice Phone Deals

With Altice, you have two choices; bring your own phone or chose one from their website. They have a small selection of phones but good variety and with the option of finance, but the cheapest option would be to BYOP.

Make sure that your phone is unlocked so that it is compatible with the Altice SIM card and you may need to program in the Altice APN settings.

If your current provider cannot unlock your phone or you are looking to upgrade your phone why not have a look at a selection of compatible refurbished phones. You can save over 50% on the top smartphones!

Key Considerations

There is such a variety when it comes to MVNO's and they all offer different benefits, so here are a few factors to figure out if an Altice cell phone plan fits your needs;

  • Does Altice (AT&T / Sprint) have good coverage in my area?
  • Do I really need unlimited calls, texts, and data?
  • Am I going to bring my own phone or buy a new (or used) device?
  • Do I need International coverage?

Altice provides you with the same great service by using two major networks, AT&T and Sprint, but for half the price!

You can find out what real customers are saying in our Altice customer reviews.

Make sure you compare all available cheap cell phone deals before making a final decision.

Why not get a new phone to go with your new low-cost plan! Don't forget you can save even more money by purchasing a refurbished phone.

Surprisingly Altice has a decent network at least where I live. I recommend trying out Altice.

Not RecommendedNothingLie, Steal, terrible customer service

Suddenlink guy told me coverage is the best and I get to keep number. Didn't put SIM card in until a couple weeks later. When I tried the service, my number was different and the internet barely worked. I switched back to my old Sim card immediately. I tried to cancel and get a refund but they messaged me they don't do that. I was charged $50 in less than two months for services I didn't/couldn't use. I tried to cancel services but only way to talk to someone is chat. I thought I closed the account then they put another 5$ on my bill. You can't see why they charge what they do and you can't talk to anyone about it. It's been 3 months and I'm still trying to get that money off my bill and the account closed. It was very expensive in time, money and stress to work with this company. Don't do it. Never had ANY problems like this with AT&T prepaid

Not RecommendedNoneInept customer service

Don't ever sign up for their services. They never delivered my SIM cards and there is no phone number to call them just chat. When I did connect with an agent they took several minutes between replies. Definitely don't consider them now.
