Unreal Mobile launched a couple years ago by the people who own Freedompop.

Unlike Freedompop, who focus on using Wi-Fi, Unreal Mobile is for a more high-speed, data hungry customer.

Optimum Mobile

If you're a customer with Suddenlink or Optimum, you're in luck. Optimum Mobile have exclusive offers only available to you. Optimum Mobile hooks onto both Sprint and AT&T and like to keep their plans simple.

Airvoice Wireless

Airvoice Wireless is one of the oldest low-cost carriers using AT&T's network.

They offer an unlimited data plan. Although not as cheap as other low-cost carriers, you can save more by opting for autopay. With a compact selection of deals, there's a plan to fit every budget.

Black Wireless

If you're looking for a plan with international calling then Black Wireless have a great one for you.

Their plans include unlimited talk, text, and data. Save more by committing to a multi month plan.

Boom! Mobile

Boom Mobile have some of the cheapest deals on the market. Targeted toward light to medium users, they have a range of plans to match your data usage. Unlimited talk and text deals are also on the table.

If you're a data-hungry cell phone user, you'd be better off checking plans from other low-cost carriers. Boom Mobile's unlimited plans are on the pricier end of the scale.

Cricket Wireless

Cricket Wireless offer some of the best plans on the AT&T network. No surprise, as they're owned by AT&T. It's one of the only low-cost carriers supporting 5G on their data only plans.

Looking for a shiny new phone to go with your new deal? Cricket Wireless have a good selection of phones, or you can save more by bringing your own.

easyGO Wireless

International service is the focus at easyGO Wireless. While their plan range is limited, they pack a serious punch. They offer cheap plans with unlimited international calling and text.

easyGo Wireless don't do unlimited data plans. But with most of us only using 3 to 5GB of data a month, do you really need to go unlimited? If you've calculated your usage and found unlimited is for you, there are lots of low-cost carriers offering unlimited deals on the AT&T network you can check out.


Freedompop offer a great variety of plans, including one that's free.

How can they do it? By using VoIP, Voice over internet protocol. Similar to Skype, this uses data signals instead of cell signals for calls and texts. The catch? Not all of their plans are free, but they've still got a great selection of cheap plans.

You can also save when you bulk-buy multiple months at a time.

FreeUP Mobile

FreeUP Mobile used to offer a free plan via a rewards program, but soon scrapped that and now offer a selection of low-cost plans. Free international talk and text, plus a variety of data options are available.

They don't offer unlimited data plans, however considering average data usage is only 3-5GB per month, it's important not to waste money on data you don't use.

H2O Wireless

Although not the cheapest low-cost carrier, H2O Wireless do have a good selection of plans to match most budgets.

They have unlimited data plans, but speeds can be throttled. They also have a good selection of phones with a finance option.

Net10 Wireless

Hopping onto all four of the major networks, coverage is king with Net10 Wireless.

They've got a great range of cell phone plans. No options for unlimited data – but we don't believe you need that anyway.

You can bring your own phone, keep your number and be in control of your plan with no extra costs.

Straight Talk

Straight Talk hooks onto all four major networks, so coverage isn't a problem.

Even though they're not the cheapest low-cost carrier on the market, you can still save money with them compared to AT&T. They have a range of plans, whether you're a light or heavy user.

If you're looking for a phone to go with your new plan, they offer a selection with finance options.


Wing provide you with simplicity and clarity. Save on multiple lines with a family plan.

Operating off AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile's network, Wing gives you trusted coverage. Plus, they do offer mobile hotspot at no additional cost.

Bear in mind, when the network is congested their customer's speeds are slowed.
