    Boom is a joke!

    Signed up a few years ago and there support seemed decent(called a couple times and was on hold maybe 5min) problem resolved...however got a text notice to renew my annual plan...three days after it had ended...I then tried to call them to renew but my service was shut down and since i use my phone as a hotspot i couldnt email either...so i borrowed my neighbors phone and called three(3) times and was on hold each time appr. 20 min...i then borrow neighbors computer and try to renew only to discover my plan is listed as $239. per month! I then waste a lot of time investigating whether this a typo and out of desperation i sign up anyway..about an hour later service is restored and thought good for another year, however get strange text that i need to read emails they sent me...however there are no emails from Boom...then 10 days after renewing get text saying my plan is about to expire in two days and that i need to renew asap...call Boom and on hold for 20 min three different times, was about to give up and try website when a person who said she worked for an answering service that Boom uses when they cant get to call...she says she cannot address any issues but can notify Boom to call me when they get caught up...that was a few days ago and have never recieved a call back yet!...I also listed my concerns on there web support site same day i called and no response their either...i used to complain about my previous cellphone providers inferior support however they always responded and was never on hold for more than 3-5 min...I still have service but for how long? and even though i just paid for an annual plan im now actively trying to find another carrier..anyone still thinking about signing on with Boom, well youve been warned! nobody's running the ship anymore!

    Works GREAT! No Speed Cap!

    Did the "Free" ($8 shipped) SIM Card and trial of BOOM-Blue (AT&T Network) After having a Disastrous Experience with RedPocket with them wasting hours of my time to only have their SIM usable for calls on my S9, BOOM was EASY!! I just popped the SIM in, and it Worked! And unlike Visible (Verizon) wich is always severely Throttled, BOOM Blue had speeds over 450mbps on LTE!! Just Amazing. They DO have Tech support. The wait on hold wasnt long. I bought the 365 day/ $19/mo plan I was so pleased with the Free trial!

    Tech support is non-existant

    Called yesterday because I couldn't get any service. Was told 1-4 hours to receive a call back. No call today (I provided them a different number to call me back on) either. When you call them, their outgoing message says 8am to 8pm Central. Turns out they close at 5pm according to the answering service. So to recap, it has been over 24 hours with no assistance. I did receive an email from the first person that had attempted to help me. In my reply, I advised that it has been a day since reporting the issue to her. No apology, nothing. I work for a MVNO cell provider in quality assurance. I'm used to hearing outstanding service calls. This is shameful. 3 days without service now. :(

    BOOM! has lots of plans to choose from so I don’t have to overpay for the unlimited data plan just to feel warm and fuzzy. I was able to find a plan that fit my budget in my usage. The customer service reps are amazing and speak English which is a plus for me

    Supervisor inexperienced

    overchatged my credit card. I had to dispute charge with CC. They are very dishonest.
