RecommendedIt's Free!nothing

It's been very good. Great At&T coverage, clear calls, very little drops 500 cals or texts for absolutely free has been a lifesaver! Customer service is always very polite and top-notch. It's a shae that the free plan is changing, though.

Not RecommendedCompare to other networks, NONETech support, performance, unprofessional staff

Contacted customer service, a few are not trained properly, tech support is a joke and just spew basics and simple standard directions known by any high school kid, but no matter the type of incompetence, they cover each other well to ignore the issue.

Recommendedsavingsinaccurate information online account

Always get different information every time I call get put on hold and get spaced off, they won't answer calls most of the time. Charged me twice for same payment and then they said they would apply the second payment to next billing cycle I told them I never agreed to this wanted a refund, they said they would call me back never do!

Not RecommendedSim Card was freeWorst Technical support ever

I switched carriers because the email was always down (Puretalk) I got my sim card and ported my old number and voicemail does not work. I have report this 4 times on a call and 2 times in email form with no one calling me back and no one trying to fix their internal problem. Their tech support is terrible and problem still not fixed. I would never suggest this company to anyone.

RecommendedrelTIVELY INEXPENSIVE Rewards program

Without notification, they removed the coupon clipping rewards program as of Aug. 1,2019.

RecommendedIt's free!Nothing

I got the 250 talk or text free plan. Works fine. Can't complain about free!

RecommendedIt's freeRenewing the free plan manually every month.

The service works like any other AT&T MVNO that is not an Apple partner (no iPhone MMS). Setup was easy, and data speeds are fine. I got one of the original free plans that includes 100mb of data, so I plan to keep it alive. If you forget to manually renew your free plan, you can call customer service and they will reset it for you.

RecommendedFantastic! and totally freenothing

Yes data is severely limited on th totally free plan, but what do you expect? Call quality is great, I always get my texts and Customer Service reps are exceedingly nice and helpful. All-in all I am very impressed. My unlocked Samsung Galaxy works with their sim and I will be ordering a second sim to put a second unlocked Samsung on it. I am more than pleased with Free-Up.

Not RecommendedAbsolutely the worst!Everything, but especially their tech support.

It's just been a nightmare since I switched over. I was with them just a few hours, and I already had had such a horrible experience that I wanted to cancel them on the spot.

RecommendedNever pay too much for cell phone coverage again.Building up rewards can be time consuming

Free Up has already saved us $650 over the course of 10 months after switching from AT&T. We used to have the most basic AT&T 1GB shared data between two phones, paying $95/month. Now we each have 1GB and are paying a maximum of $40/month before applying reward discounts. I don't drop calls, text messages go through, and the service has been just as good as AT&T, but at a fraction of the price.

Recommendednever had any problems with servicenothing

easy to use

Not RecommendedAbsolutely nothing.Everything. It's completely unreliable.

I wouldn't recommend switching to FreeUp Mobile to ANYONE. You will certainly regret it, as I did. More than 99% of the time, my phone couldn't make or receive calls or text messages. When I attempted to switch to another carrier, I was without a phone for several hours because FreeUp Mobile chose NOT TO RESPOND TO THE PORT REQUEST from the other carrier. I have never seen such an atrocity in workmanship, reliability and customer service in my life.

Not RecommendedEasy to set upThe Free Plan is totally useless.

The Free Plan may sound attractive. However, it simply would not work. You will end up receiving tons of spam calls and spam texts. That will eat up your 500 text messages easily.

Not RecommendedNoneCompatibility Issues

FreeUp customer service keep suggesting the same solutions even if they don't work and the service isn't compatible with every unlocked GSM phone. It doesn't work with my Note 4! Don't recommend.

RecommendedFantastic Rewards AppNone

Setup's easy and activation is fast. The rewards app is also great! You can use it when waiting for an appointment and the rewards will net you more credits for your phone bill.
