Kroger Wireless reviews: Read 30 customer service ratings

Kroger Wireless draws people in with cheap phones and cheap service. Ever hear "you get what you pay for"?. This is the sadest excuse of a company I've seen. Not only are the phones a piece of junk, you'll lose service 3/4 of the time! Don't even try to call customer service because their as helpful as a blind traffic conductor. If you think I'm being too harsh, than go ahead and buy a phone and service from them and see for yourself. Kroger Wireless is one of th…e worst scams I've seen in about a decade. I bought a ZTE Blade Force phone at the Kroger on Studemont St,Houston Tx. on May 29th 2020. The Customer Service lady acted irritated that I was buying a phone. I also bought an Unlimited Data Plan. Worst mistake I ever made but seemed like a great store where I'd been a customer for 2 years. First off when the phone was taken out of the box I noticed a damaged corner. I pointed this out to the agent.She glanced up and snapped,"All sales final on phones." That conversation …continued,but suffice it to say she wasn't budging. Talked to a Asst Manager the next day about the damaged phone and difficulty activating the data. She was a bit rude and unwilling to assist me. Coming back later the head manager refused to talk to me citing Corporate Office orders not to exchange or refund due to Covid-19. This after a Customer Service agent at krogerwireless told me during a phone call to take it back to the store. In summary it took 2 weeks to activate the data plan. The phone never worked properly and quit working altogether on June 27th. Just a wasted and very troublesome app.$100. Losing the money from my wallet would have been preferable. The lesson is you don't buy your baloney at T-Mobile,and don't buy your phones at Kroger.Show more

Their favorite solution is factory reset and they don't keep notes in your account to go back and see where the issues are they don't even try to fix your issues they really don't know how

Every month when my payment is due they turn off my phone at 7:17 pm they have ripped me off for 5 hours of service every month. I went today to switch my phone to Cricket these no good pieces of crap at Kroger Wireless would not unlock the Sim card so I could switch companies it's my phone I paid for it but they told me they wouldn't let me take it to another company!! I had to buy a new phone!! You can't hold people hostage!! I pray they go out of business!! And they haven'…;t heard the last from me!!Show more

Every since Kroger Wireless took over my service is turned off at 7:17 pm On my due date I have made plenty of complaints about this and was assured it wouldn't happen again so I waited to pay this month and sure enough at 7:17pm my service was turned off!! You have stolen 5 hours of service since you took over!! I never had that problem with I Wireless!! I have been a customer for over 4 years but I'm done!!

Happy with Kroger Wireless. I shop at Kroger, so whenever I need to credit my account, I can just purchase a card when I get my groceries.
