Good price for me since I'm a college student. I don't make alot and my T-Mobile took so much of my budget. Since swapping to Mint I've been able to save more for my other expenses. Data coverage is ok but text and calling quality is superb. Very reliable carrier overall.

Mint Mobile is a horrible phone service I cancelled my service in June and they stole the money out of my account in July. They cancelled my service so I don't have any service plus they stole my money. I can't speak with anyone about why request is being denied when I never authorized them to steal money plus I don't even have the service.

Pros are range of devices you can use on their network, which was the primary reason I joined. Cons - everything else. Spotty and unreliable service (and I live in a expansive metro area). Expensive for what you get - I actually had better coverage with three times the data for less per month by being on a Cricket family plan. Recently drove interstate between Virginia Beach and Nashville, Tennessee with a signal less than half of the time.

Before getting Mint Mobile they told me that my phone was not compatible and needed to buy a new one. I bought a new one and according TO THEM it was compatible. I used it from January to June without problems and now they say that there were some updated in their network and is not compatible anymore. Now I have 2 phones that I cannot use and a plan of a whole year that I already paid. Plus the first sim card the lost it. Mint Mobile just told me that cannot do anything just an apologize. I bought a package that was supposed to give unlimited data after using the initial 4GB. I didn't mind a lower speed, since I didn't need it for streaming or anything like that. In fact, after it finished the lower speed data was totally unusable. I could not even open a website with it. I was forced to either buy more to top-up or abandon ship. I should have gone with a different company. Please don't make the same mistake as me. I spoke with their staff on customer support who r…efused to let me talk to her supervisor, and could do nothing for me except extract more money. Thumbs Down for Mint MobileShow more

I guess it's just too much to ask for a smooth live stream and access to the internet most of the time

Calls drop or literally can’t be initiated- calls cut out and texts won’t go through. The first two or three weeks were great but it has become unusable.

When I was in the Bay area men's service worked just as great as all the other carriers. Ever since I moved to Reno the service is close to non-existent. It shows I have one bar about 90% of the time. Which to me makes no sense considering Reno was bigger than the city I was in in the Bay area. I also work in the Tahoe area and the service is close to non-existent up here too. The customer service is terrible even if the service isn't working they refuse to help and your only options s…re to to take the hit and lose out on the service you prepaid for or stick with the service that doesn't work until your prepaid months are over. Like I said if you live in an area where the service works I think it's really worth it because it works just as great as Verizon and AT&t for literally half the price. But keep in mind that you do get what you pay for and you aren't going to get service everywhere or at least a reliable service like you would with ATT and Verizon when you leave the big cities.Show more

I switched from Verizon about 4 months ago and haven't looked back. I get excellent coverage, 5G service on my iPhone and have had very good download speeds. After my trial period ended, I signed up for another year at $15 a month. Good plan, at least for my area.

Sign me up for more.

I live in a Mountainness area and it's working very well for me, I live in Sierra Vista AZ and on a fixed budget I need to save as much MONEY as I can, I just got Mint Mobile and it's working very well for me, it is compatible with my Phones and I'm planning on switching from VERIZON to Mint Mobile, I'm done with the throttling and the other gimmicks they use to make you think that your getting the DEAL OF A LIFETIME, My Contract Expires in the 28 of April and I am out the d…oor, I was a customer for a very long time and recently I've read and noticed BIG CHANGES IN VERIZON CORPORATIONS, not going to play this game anymore. I'm moving from AZ TO CA so I will update this when that all happens. I AM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER WITH MINT MOBILE RIGHT NOW, I TALKED TO MY BROTHER OVER AN HOUR AND HE'S OVER 1,000 MILES AWAY AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUES OR DROPPED CALLS, I DON'T UNDER STAND THE ISSUES PEOPLE ARE HAVING, I ORDERED MY STUFF FROM THEM, MINT MOBILE, IT CAME LAST FRIDAY, 9 APRIL, AND I CONNECTED IT ON THE 10TH OF APRIL, TESTED IT OUT BY SENDING MESSAGES TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY, MADE CALLS ON THE 10TH OF APRIL FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH NO ISSUES.Show more

Been on Mint for 2 mo's. No probs. Haven't been capped. Don't even get close to my data plan. Calls have been better than Sprint. No plans to change from Mint.

I hate mint mobile. Haven’t had service yet as I have been waiting two weeks for my shipment to arrive. It is stuck in Florida. Mint keeps blaming the weather in Tx and even California. I have been lied to multiple times. Can’t speak with a supervisor and they won’t call back. All the agents can do is apologize obsessively. Fed ex has informed me that there is a problem and mint needs to contact them for some forms and a reshipment. Mint refuses to contact them and continues to blame the w…eather. I feel scammed and do not recommend.Show more

Customer service are clueless and Horrible!! They are located in Puerto Rico or Tijuana they don’t have access to accounts when you are try to get a refund. I was told it was refunded to my bank but they have no idea what bank they send it too or when it was refunded.

I called customer service several times, I requested to speak with a supervisor, which I was told one would call after I was on hold more than 30 mins. however, never did. You cannot sell a product and negate the companies responsibility by hiding behind copy and paste return policies when asked for a refund because of poor service. You are advertising a service that does not meet basic standards. MINT MOBILE IS VERY MUCH UNPROFESSIONAL.

Beyond slow data. Can’t connect to any website.

Activation was super simple just follow their directions. Easy to see your data use. Super cheap.

When I first booted up my phone with the new Mint Mobile sim card, I promptly sent a text to my son and received one back 30 minutes later. I didn't have high expectations but in 3 months I've been able to have a 50 second rough conversation and sent and received a total of 9 texts, only ONE of which from home which is CLEARLY covered according to the map on the site. I guess the price is just too good to be true.

The phone service was bad, constant dropped calls and incoming calls were always routed to voicemail without ringing. Texts failed to send all the time. But the worst part about mint was the customer service. No resolutions after a month. Incompetance in filing tickets (they do it to T-Mobile on your behalf and you're kept out of the loop the whole time), missing crucial case details that result in weeks of no progress. Lies upon lies about when they'll follow up with you and how. (Th…ey never do.) One supervisor said plainly we cannot give you in writing the dates the tickets are filed because it could harm the company's image.Show more
