Intercall Conference Call

Offering a range of interactive features as well as some excellent audio features Intercall is a great choice for businesses that want to increase convenience and flexibility when it comes to scheduling meetings and conferences. You can schedule conference calls with ease as this service comes with an automated invite feature among other things.

Intercall Integrated Software

Intercall's web-based conferencing provides audio and video services, working in conjunction with Adobe Connect, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft LiveMeeting, Microsoft Lync, Unified Meeting 5 and Google Hangouts. Adobe endorses Intercall as a virtual conference partner for their advanced audio.

One-click scheduling is a straightforward matter with Outlook and Google Calendar gadgets which pre-populate your conference call details.

Intercall offers a range of video conferencing solutions, depending on your needs and preferences. Unified Meeting 5 plans include a pay-per-use option at 17c per minute per attendee for a maximum of 125 participants. Monthly options start from $25 for up to ten attendees and $39 for up to 25. All of these offer a free mobile apps download, VOIP, a dedicated dial-in number, Outlook integration and online collaboration. A toll-free dial-in number is included in the pay-per-minute price, and is an optional extra for the monthly plans.

Small business conference call solutions include a dedicated dial-in number, a toll-free option (again, included in the pay-per-minute plan), call manager scheduling and starting, free mobile apps and 24/7 operator support. These plans start at 10c per minute per attendee and for up to ten attendees it's just $19 per month, and $29 per month for up to 25 attendees.

The interface is fully-usable on any iPhone, Android or Blackberry phone and InterCall also offers Mobile Conferencing Solutions, InterCall MobileMeet and Mobile Assistant for audio conferences designed for cell phones. You can store dial-in numbers and meeting schedules in advance, convene audio meetings or join the conferences instantly without keying in any additional details, as well as view the participant list and get informed on meeting room details in real time.

Making the Most of Your Intercall Meeting Time

Breakout rooms for private discussions are a great feature of Intercall. These separate areas can really help improve collaboration by allowing small groups to work on or discuss an issue, or to give managers a place to work on sensitive or high-level matters before making a decision. InterCall's plans allow up to 100 attendees, so in the case of a large web conference; this tool is a useful way to organize into focus groups.

Web conferences can also be locked to prevent unauthorized access and to minimize disruptions. Once a conference is locked, new attendees cannot join the online meeting until the moderator gives them access.

A particularly useful tool is muting, allowing the moderator to mute everyone except the presenters. Attendees can click on an icon to raise their virtual hands indicating that they wish to speak.

You can also choose to require pre-registration which can help you fine-tune your message or meeting for each audience. Looking for feedback on your talk? There's also a handy polling feature to garner opinions following the meeting.

Intercall Freestyling

Intercall is exceptionally user-friendly for non-expert attendees. They can join via the web, call in or have the meeting call them. Unless the mobile app is required, there are no downloads and no codes - unless the host has issued a password for attendees.

The social media integration feature allows you to view the Facebook profile of the presenter or other attendees. There's also a whiteboard feature – common to many other web conferencing platforms. Attendees also have the option to annotate the screen or slides however there's no save feature for this so you'll need to remember to take a screenshot to capture this information.

Intercall Reliability

Intercall boasts an uptime of 99.99% and offers around the clock operator support. When it comes to support, Intercall offers a choice of contact options including phone, email, and live chat contact facilities. You will find a range of tools and resources available with this service such as informational articles and instructional guides for assistance, plus FAQs pages, how-to guides, a knowledgebase, a training center and troubleshooting. Despite the fact that it offers so many different online conferencing service options, the support section is easy to navigate.

If none of these solve your problem, Intercall can provide remote IT support for a technician to remotely access your computer and (hopefully) resolve any issues once and for all. Should you have a large or difficult meeting looming and require a third party to moderate, this service also offers operator-assisted meetings.

Intercall For Businesses of All Sizes

For small businesses, InterCall partners with Adobe Connect and Unified Meeting 5 with user-friendly interfaces, making it easy for even inexperienced presenters or attendees to take control of a meeting. This software has a simple scheduling process, and is easily accessed through Outlook to schedule meetings and send invitations.

File-Sharing Features with Intercall

When you choose Intercall as your conference calling service you can also benefit from file sharing features, so presentations can be viewed with ease and documents can be quickly and conveniently shared. The service does not offer all of the advanced features that some of its competitors do, like cloud storage, but it does offer key features that businesses will be eager to utilize, including network space for recordings and files. It uses 128-bit AES encryption with the option to require security passwords for your attendees.

In addition to the standard features, this service comes with recording and playback facilities, which means that anyone that arrives at the meeting late or misses it altogether can listen to the conference at a later time in order to catch up on what was discussed.

Verdict - Very Good

Intercall provides a reliable and solid service that will suit the needs of many businesses looking for increased ease and convenience. In terms of consumer reviews, the service has scored 3.8/5 from Indeed.com as well as earning an excellent A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Intercall has a number of great features for setting up meetings and communicating but my team found the interface to be sort of confusing and clumsy. It took a while to understand the navigation.
