Cell phone plan reviews
Phone carrier customer service reviews & user ratingsGreat if you're on a low-budget
During the pandemic, I lost my job and had to take a position that pays significantly less, making budget cuts essential. Thankfully, a friend recommended Red Pocket to me, which has been a amazing for my finances. I was able to secure their essential plan for a little over $8 a month which has freed up much-needed funds, allowing me to focus on other important expenses.
Reliable coverage and fantastic price
The cost is fantastic and the coverage is generally reliable. However, I do lose signal in any mountainous areas, so that's the only reason I'm rating it four stars instead of a perfect five.
Low priced data plans and great customer service
I switched to US Mobile after facing customer service issues with Google Fi, where I was regularly paying over $30 a month despite using minimal data. I had previously tried out other services, but was met with terrible customer service or rubbish service quality. Taking advantage of US Mobile's 100-day free trial, I was impressed enough to opt for their pooled plan. My single line cost me $9, with an additional $0.48 in fees and $2 per GB of data. So, my total monthly bill came to just $11….48. If I ever ran low on data, topping up was an easy $2 per GB.
Being forced to upgrade made me switch
After my previous service provider insisted that I needed to upgrade my phone to remain compatible with their updated network, I switched to Mint Mobile instead. The move saved me over $300 within the first quarter. Not only is the phone service excellent with Mint, but my download speeds are much faster.
Great value for money
With Mint Mobile, the value exceeds the cost! While it's true that reception can be somewhat inconsistent in rural areas, the significant savings compared to the major carriers more than make up for it. Plus, the setup process is incredibly simple!
Good value for money
Amazing price, good call quality and service. No complaints from me!
Unbeatable price
The price is unbeatable, although there's room for improvement in coverage. That said, it's not a knock on Mint Mobile's service specifically, as even Verizon in my area faces the same connectivity issues in remote areas. Overall, enhanced coverage would just be a nice bonus.
Cheap and customizable to your needs
I highly recommend giving this company a shot. They offer plans that can be customized to fit your budget and needs, making them a fantastic choice.
Old carrier tried to charge me for 5G
While there's a fair amount of negative chatter about Mint Mobile, my personal experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The service has saved me more than $360 annually, and not only is the coverage superior, but my phone now also supports 5G. With my previous carrier, they insisted I buy one of their 5G-compatible phones to access this feature, which I found ridiculous.
Replacement Sim never arrived
I lost my phone, so I requested a replacement Sim from Mint Customer Service. They said it will take 2-3 business days to receive it. It was 1,5 months ago and I haven’t received it. I called them two weeks ago and they promised that this time I will receive it in 2-3 business days. I even got a ticket number: TECOPSJSD-247081. I still haven’t received my Sim card and CS doesn’t respond to my phone calls so from my part I will simply go to another Phone Company and leave here on the net as… many bad reviews to Mint Mobile as many I can. They have one of the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.
Fair prices and good service
Straightforward and basic, the SIM card arrived without any problems. The plans are not only affordable but also reliable.
Terrible customer service with no knowledge.
Tried to transfer my anual plan esim and nobody could make it happen. It takes their service department over 24 hours to respond. The response was a "sorry not compatible" copy/paste response that even tried to sell me one of their phones. My phone is unlocked, but perhaps too new, so they can't help for 48 hours. Really?! 2 days before I even know if it will be resolved. This after getting a plan for my son too. We will likely both be changing carriers. I am really disappoint…ed.
One of the most affordable options
Without a doubt, Mint Mobile offers exceptional value. We've been through several service providers, but we've stuck with Mint for a good reason. Even with two lines that have varying levels of usage, the annual cost is still less than what six months would cost for just one line with other companies. While there are occasional service hiccups in remote areas, they continually enhance their data packages at no additional expense. We've been satisfied customers for a while now and …intend to stay that way.
Good service if you've got coverage
I'm really satisfied with Ultra Mobile's service, which offers unlimited national calls and texts at a very affordable rate. As long as you're within T-Mobile's coverage, it's an excellent option for those mainly interested in calling and texting.
One of the best
For years, I've had no reason to consider another carrier because the service from US Mobile has been excellent. However, if you're someone who consumes a lot of data, it might not be the best option for you.
Cut the cost of my bill for $100's!
Transitioning to Mint was a breeze and only required less than an hour of my time. Additionally, the service is fully compatible with the latest smartphones. I've managed to save several hundred dollars
Good value for money
The online registration process couldn't have been easier. With a monthly fee of just $25 for 30GB of high-speed data, the value is exceptional. I've experienced consistent, strong coverage thanks to AT&T's network and haven't run into any dead spots yet. Additionally, extra taxes and fees are minimal, just 86 cents in my area. The customer service has also been commendable. Overall, it's an outstanding deal.
Just what I needed at a cheap price
I needed a basic plan with limited internet and couldn't find anything affordable with major carriers, whose plans usually start at $30. Ultramobile offered me a budget-friendly option without requiring a yearly commitment. The only drawback was the lack of choice in selecting an area code or phone number; otherwise, I'd give it a 5-star rating.
Easy to sign up
Signing up online was hassle-free. The monthly plan costs just $25 and comes with 30GB of fast data, providing excellent value.
Do not port your number into this horrible service
Do not port your number into this horrible service. I've been trying everyday for 6 days to get my number back to AT&T. Ultra will not give me the correct account number for porting. Keep telling you tomarrow Filed complaint FCC and utilities commission. Writing this review to warn others.
