Optima Tax Relief

Optima Tax Relief is a tax debt firm dedicated to helping people with federal and states tax issues. They recognize the need for advocacy in situations when clients are expected to pay back more than they can afford. Their solution to many tax issues is based on a twofold strategy where they first address immediate issues and then prepare clients for the best possible course of recovery. Aside from tax debt relief they also help with tax audits, wage garnishment and penalties including levies and liens.

The Optima Tax Relief staff understands the anxiety that comes with owing back taxes. From your first meeting with them, you rest easy knowing that getting back in compliance with the tax authorities is a process you can see through to successful conclusion. The Optima team reviews your case with you, creates an analysis of your situation and proposes a customized course of action.

Their two phase process ensures you understand the options available to you prior to moving forward and paying fees. The process from the initial phone call to the final results typically takes two to six months. During this time the seasoned professionals at Optima help ensure that the IRS does not contact your bank, employer, or garnish your wages.

The Free Consultation

Take advantage of Optima's free consultation to determine whether they can help with your tax debt situation. Find out how they assist you through tax audits, help reduce your tax debt, and stop wage garnishments and bank levies from happening. In some cases, you may be able to settle tax debts for much less than was originally owed. You'll receive detailed proposals on your tax debt relief options before hiring Optima.

During your free consult, you and an expert team member pore over the specifics of your tax debt and current status with the IRS and state tax authorities. Potential items on the agenda are removing tax liens and levies, preventing seizure of assets, ending wage garnishments and setting up installment plans.

Some taxpayers may qualify for the Offer in Compromise program, where the amount of your tax debt is reduced. This requires a thorough analysis of your income, expenses and assets by the IRS. In truth, it's more likely most taxpayers qualify for an installment payment plan, rather than be granted an Offer in Compromise that reduces their tax debt. Optima can also file back taxes for you, and negotiate a whole range of solutions on your behalf with IRS and state tax authorities.

Optima's tax attorneys leverage their experience, and negotiate the best solution to your tax debt situation with the IRS. I can't fault Optima for helping me with my tax debt. Having been self employed I thought everything was up to date, until the IRS contacted me. A friend recommended Optima and they were amazing from the first phone call.

5 out of 10 rating 5 Friendly customer service reps Slow response

I had heard nothing but good things about optima tax relief, so I called them after a few months of trying to pay off my IRS debt. The customer service reps are friendly and sounded like they knew what they were doing so i signed up. Unfortunately they took so long to respond to anything that I ended up getting extra fines but on my account and they refused to cover them even though it was their fault. They have saved me money each month, but I'm still paying more no thanks to their slow response.
