About Amanda

Amanda has 20+ years of experience as an educator. Her teaching career, paired with her love for research and technology, has led her to MoneySavingPro. Her personal experience with eSIMs and MVNOs after switching her entire family away from big wireless in the last few years has taught her the ins and outs of the industry. Her passion for writing and editing started in high school and carried on through college where she worked at the Writing Lab for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. After completing her studies, she volunteered for Literacy AmeriCorps, building literacy foundations for populations in need. This passion carried over into a 20-year teaching career where she inspired young minds to hone their writing and editing skills as a way to better express and support their ideas using research-based evidence.
