So you've made the jump to save money with this MVNO. Once you verify Boost Mobile coverage in your area, you now need to activate your Boost Mobile SIM card.

How do I activate my Boost Mobile SIM?

If you've got an eSIM-compatible phone and opted for a Boost Mobile eSIM plan, your eSIM should've been activated on purchase.

However, if you've got a physical SIM card, you can either activate your plan on Boost Mobile's website or via a phone call once the SIM card arrives in the mail.

When you go over to the Boost Mobile website, you'll need a few things to hand to activate your phone and SIM card and follow these steps:

Enter your Boost SIM card ICCID number (15-digit code on the back of your SIM card)
Next, you'll need to enter your phone's IMEI number.
You'll then be able to choose your mobile number and then set up your Boost Mobile account

Activating Boost Mobile on an Android phone

If you're bringing your own Android, you'll need to change your APN settings to make sure you get the most out of the services.

Settings > Connections/Network Connections or Network and Internet
Select Mobile Networks and make sure Mobile Data is enabled
Choose Access Point Names (APN) and select "Add."

Find the specific details for the Boost Mobile APN settings.
