Pix Wireless Cell Phone Plans

While Verizon Wireless is still the best wireless provider out there for reliability, MVNOs like Cricket Wireless, Republic Wireless, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile all offer decent coverage at cheap prices. Pix Wireless offers CDMA service plans from Sprint and GSM service plans on America's largest GSM network, although their GSM capabilities are currently being upgraded. This differentiates them from the competition because they can accept more customers for bring your own phone plans.

All Pix Wireless no-contract plans come with nationwide calling, caller ID, voicemail, and call waiting. All Pix Wireless plans with data include 4G speeds until you reach your data cap. With Pix Wireless cell phone service, you can customize your plan to suit your individual needs. Just filter the number of minutes, text messages, and data you need on their site to narrow down a plan.

You won't have any problem switching your phone number either; just go to the site and type in your phone's MEID number and email to check compatibility and activate your phone. If you have a GSM phone number, you'll have to wait until Pix finishes their upgrades.

Here is a current price list to give you an idea of how much a Pix plan might cost. Keep in mind that prices are subject to change. Additionally, Pix Wireless does not offer family plans. If you're looking for a shared family plan, you'll need to check elsewhere.

Monthly Plans

Pix Wireless monthly plans are extra affordable. Check what they have to offer above in the way of talk, text, data, and unlimited plans. They do not offer truly unlimited plans for data, however.

You can also add 500GB of 4G LTE data for $5 and 1GB of 4G LTE data for $10 if you run out. All plans include taxes and fees, so you don't have to worry about hidden charges. If you live in Florida, however, you will be subject to sales tax.

Weekly Plans

You can also pay per week if you don't use your phone much. Here's what Pix Wireless cell phone service has to offer.

  • Get 200 minutes, unlimited text and 0MB of high-speed data for $7.
  • Get 400 minutes, unlimited text and 50MB of high-speed data for $9.
  • Get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and 100MB of high-speed data for $11.

PayGo Plans

PayGo Plans from Pix last a whole year. With Pix Wireless PayGO plans, you'll receive a free introductory 150 Minutes of talk and 50 Texts for the first 30 days of your 365-day cycle, according to the website. Here's what they have to offer.

  • Pay $75 for 3,750 minutes, 7,500 texts, 3750MB of 4G LTE, or a 938 MMS plan.
  • Pay $100 for 5,000 minutes, 10,000 texts, 5,000MB, of 4G LTE, or 1,250 MMS plan.
  • Pay $125 for 6,250 minutes, 12,500 texts, 6,250MB, or 1,563 MMS plan.
  • Pay $150 for 7,500 minutes, 15,000 texts, 7,500MB, or 1,875 MMS plan.
  • Pay $175 for 8,750 minutes, 17,500 texts, 8,750 MB, or 2,188 MMS plan.
  • Pay $200 for 10,000 minutes, 20,000 texts, 10,000MB, or 2,500 MMS plan.

Customizable Plans

Customizable plans from Pix Wireless start at $4.99 for 100 Minutes of talk, 50 texts and 50 MB of 4G Data. There are various amounts of data, talk, and text you can add for various prices to create your own special plan on your sim card each month. Here's what it looks like.

GSM Nationwide Network Plans from Pix Wireless

Pix Wireless' GSM network is currently being upgraded, so plans are not detailed on the Pix Wireless site. For now, you must have a CDMA phone to get Pix Wireless plans. Regardless, I would double check compatibility on their site.

How is Pix Wireless Coverage?

Pix Wireless' coverage map indicates that the service covers 99 percent of America with 4G LTE. Pix also covers 280 Million people with the Sprint network. You may, however, want to check the Pix Wireless website to make sure 4G LTE and full, quality coverage is offered from Pix in your area. You can also check out our coverage maps for more information about Sprint.

Otherwise, you may get stuck with no service or slow service. Pix Wireless coverage is not as great as MVNOs who use Verizon Wireless. They also do not offer mobile hotspot tethering. If you're looking to use a mobile hotspot, you'll have to find a different provider.

Which Phones Can You Buy From Pix Wireless?

There is a variety of Pix Wireless phones for its customers to choose from. Its phones include the iPhone 6, 6s, and 6 Plus, the Samsung Galaxy 3, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the Motorola Moto, the LG Nexus 5, and the HTC One Mini. You shouldn't have a problem with the phone selection unless you're looking for the latest and greatest smartphones on the market.

How is Pix Wireless Customer Service?

Pix Wireless has a message and live chat feature on their website in case its customers have any questions about their service. The message option actually connects you directly to Facebook Messenger where you can message the company directly.

Pix Wireless offers customizable weekly, monthly, and yearly prepaid SIM card plans at affordable prices. Their no-contract plans include data, talk, and text as well as MMS.
