Crooks! Stole my phone with no credits!

I returned 2 phones for credit with my new plan. They only gave me credit for one phone and AT&T lost the other one???? They were in the same box. They are lying Crooks, will NEVER be a AT&T customer again! After being passed around to 50 different people for 2 months I gave up, because apparently no one can do anything, and sorry we don’t know where your phone is! AT&T does NOT CARE at all about customer service and could care less if you are a customer. Great business plan.

Liars

They can’t be trusted. Several times they told us one thing on phone then we get a bill for way more. When you call them out on it they say “well I don’t know why they told you that” No two reps say the same thing. This has happened multiple times to us. I don’t know how they are still in business. Terrible customer service.

Worst customer service for cell phones.

From the repressive so to the supervisors they just don’t care. They give you misleading information and no matter how long you have been with them it doesn’t matter. Spent over 3 hours on the phone and never got the issues resolved. Was told a supervisor would call me back and 10 hours later they called and asked if my issue was resolved. I said yes because I am going to another company. His response ok sir glad we could take care of your issue. Also they try to take advantage of people too so if you order service or phones on line it’s cheaper than going into the store for the same thing. When in the store they will not honor on line prices and tell you you have to do it on line to get that price. I only give they 2 stars because the cell service as far as signal is good.

Bad service in most places in Las Vegas

Bad service maybe 2 bars of lte in most of Las Vegas and Henderson, I’ve had Verizon most of the time and then switched that was a mistake At&t can’t support anything throughout the city or out of town as I travel. Go with another carrier.

Uverse cs agents are shady & deceitful.👎🏾👈🏾

CS agents are crooks!! If you are a 0 star rating for cs, I would give you exact that zero rating. You aren't worthly for 1 a 1 star rating. They are a wolf in sheep's clothing. I will never end the call without making sure a supervisor or manager has confirmed their cs agents took notes for our call. I will also get their name, ID number and state.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Endless cycle of two or three ads during the hours on hold will sap any desire for resolution. This seems to be their customer service model. Make mistakes, then charge to fix them. Seems like extortion.

Kannapolis locations idea of help is here’s the number. Call and it’s easy to set up your new phone. Lol. Concord NC helped me set up my new phone and NO. It’s not easy. Kannapolis needs to learn their job and do it. Thank you Shannon in Concord for everything.

Free watch lie, iPad never got..retail did nothing but lie and deceive..1100 dollars later on a bill..highway robbery..and basically you charged us again to make adjustments that your employees did not tell the truth and we confronted them and they laughed

Constant Changes when you don't notice them

Speaking with both representatives I can say this, as much as I've dealt with good ones, there's two of them that are extremely incapable of helping. They'll like to go backwards to old bills trying to so call find the problem as to why your bill keeps getting higher? Being one person with a phone bill I can say that when it's getting higher and you're paying on time each month, there's no point honestly. You're wondering if you don't pay on time then it's added fees. Of course, but if you do there's still your plan making your bill higher and higher and you've made no changes. If you make one change and that's just the date, okay having to pay the extra $9 because of it. Then after that your bill fluctuates all over the place like what just happened? It's been frustrating calling them to fix the issue but I do thank Lucky one of the reps for stating that even calling them adds on to your bill. They never told me that. Samantha was no help either going back into seeing why it builds up. Well, tell you this much having to bait people with deals then throw them under a bus with a big ass bill is good salesmanship and as a company, AT&T you proved that screwing your customers is best for business. Good job 👏🏾

Greedy and Inflexible

I cancelled service after paying for a month in advance and switched to another carrier. 2 months later I received a threatening letter from ATT wanting ANOTHER month's payment plus late fee. Over $100 for one day's service overlap -- Merry Christmas from ATT!

Beware of AT&T price increases every 2 months.

Every two months my bill increases. This has gone on ever since I had AT&T. Iv had Direct TV since January 1999 but will now change providers because I have to call ATT for an explanation every two months as to why my bill increases. Im Told the same thing each time that a promotion expired. I have downgraded my services so much and am told each time that my bill won’t increase again. Two months later it increases again. I will change providers.

We have an 800 credit score.

We filled out 6 applications over 3 day. At Sam's club and never could get our credit approved I credit approved I even showed him on credit karma my credit score I offered to pay for the phones I will never do business with AT&T what a big waste of time.

Lied about receiving phone back in mail, won't leave me alone. Sent me to collection agency. I ran to t-mobile and got better deal.

Poor customer service.

They say they will change your plan so you don’t terminate your service, but the changes are never implemented. The customer service people are either incompetent or lie to get you off the phone.

They never credited me for my iphone 11

I have been a loyal customer for years know but I I am switching to another company, they are greedy and expensive company. I returned my iphone 11 for a credit on my iPhone 12, they never did, and kept me waiting for more than a year ☹️ Now I just lose my confident on them and move on.

Very rude and unprofessional customer service.

Called multiple times. Was hung up on twice. Was sold a plan that I repeatedly asked not to be. She told me she would transfer me to someone who could fix it, transferred to home security instead and that lady was rude. After multiple calls not one representative would give me an honest answer if they were able to fix my plan. Finally was transferred to Charles in customer service, he was friendly and was able to help and solve the problem within 5 minutes. Spent almost two hours on the phone with that had different answers from the next

Bad company policy.

Will not let you take your prepaid number to a contract number have to get a new number they are loosing money stupid policy.

I own a small antique business in the Dallas Design District. I have been in my current location for 4 years. AT&T had no broadband service here until recently but every few months a Rep would call in trying to sell me fiber optic broadband even though they could not provide it. About 3 months ago a Rep from AT&T called in and she was adamant that she could supply a fiber optic 1000 mbps service. As I was only getting 300 mbps (and less in reality) from Spectrum, I expressed an interest. She sent out a site engineer (sub contractor) to perform a site inspection about 2 weeks later. He came and confirmed that they could get a fiber optic service to me and that he was submitting his report. I contacted my next door business neighbors who are friends of mine and told them they should also sign up. After another few weeks I notice an AT&T technician installing the service next door and I had heard nothing. I called AT&T business and nobody answered and nobody ever returned my call. I gave up ! 2 weeks ago 3 girls (rep's) from AT& T called into my shop, selling fiber optic broadband. My first reaction was to laugh. I explained in detail to them my history with AT&T over this. They assured me that it must have been an oversight. They checked the company's records but could find no record of my previous order or even the engineers site visit report. I told them in no uncertain terms that if they could in fact deliver me 1000 mbps service that I would sign up. They made numerous calls to HQ and finally presented me with contracts and paperwork for Fiber Optic Internet and Land line for a combined $70. They even offered me a $250 prepaid VISA Card to pay the $100 installation fee and $150 for the previous inconvenience(s). At ALL times I was led to believe that this was for their 1000 mbps service and very tellingly the paperwork is 'silent' on the service speed that was being agreed. As I was currently getting 300 mbps internet, land line and TV from Spectrum I obviously would NEVER have agreed to a lesser service even for a small saving .... it would make ZERO sense. The AT&T technician came today (by prior appointment) and spent the entire day installing the new AT&T service. I could do nothing else for the entire day. When he was finished setting it up and about to leave I connected to the new modem and ran a speed test. It was just over 50 mbps download and about 50 mbps upload. I immediately asked the technician as to why it was so slow when the contract was for 1000 mbps. He called HQ and was told that my contract was for 50 over 50 mbps. I WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN THIS !!! THIS WAS NOT WHAT I HAD SIGNED UP FOR ! Why would I sign up for this when I was getting 6 times that download speed from Spectrum ? He put me on the phone with one of the Rep's who sold me this 'sows ear' of a service and she tried to BLAME ME !!! She tried to say that they had discussed this with me before signing. I called her out on her lie and she then backtracked and then said that "they made the decision on the service speeds based upon what THEY thought was right for my business needs". As you can imagine I totally 'lost it' with her ... Who do they think they are making business decisions on behalf of MY business without my approval ??? This has got to be the most APPALLING thing anyone has ever said to me .... namely that they know better than I do about how to operate my business !!! The simply truth here is that they lied about the 1000 mbps service, they deliberately neglected to write the agreed service into the contract because they KNEW I would NEVER have agreed to it. I immediately cancelled the order and told her that I would NEVER do business with AT&T again ! She then had the audacity to offer me 300 mbps for the same price as I was currently paying Spectrum (for the same speed) but with TV included in my Spectrum Bill !!!! THE MIND BOGGLES AT THE CHEEK OF THEM !!! Then I had to contact Spectrum myself to get my land line back which could take several days. Out of curiosity I checked my Spectrum speed and it was TWICE the AT&T Speed ! I am not letting them get away with this attempted FRAUD !! I am at a loss and they WILL recompense me.

Charging for not transferred cellphone service

AT & T charged me for a cellphone number service that was not transferred to them from Altice mobile so I was charged by both AT & T $ 86 and Altice $ 40 for the same month. I told AT & T about it and customer service said will do something but just sent my bill to a collection agency to ruin my credit score. I will not recommend AT & T to anybody, such a rip-off company.
