Verizon FiOS Channel Listings

You can explore the FiOS channel lineup with Verizon's channel lineup tool. With this tool, you can filter and search for channels by name, number, and category (Premiums, Family, Sports). You also can select and compare up to five TV plans to explore what each plan has to offer in terms of channel availability. All you need to do is enter your zip code to view what is available in your area.

You'll be able to find the lineup tool under the main Products tab, right underneath FiOS TV.

Verizon FiOS Channel Lineup

As mentioned in the previous section, you can view the available channels and their numbers in your area. Additionally, you can view the channels by the package. Yet, what are the available plans offered by Verizon? Below you'll find the descriptions of each package.

Please note that there are two plans not highlighted here: FiOS TV Mundo and FiOS TV Mundo Total. The first offers the best in Spanish language entertainment, providing you with over 295 channels, though over 50 of them are in HD resolution. You'll find channels such as ESPN Deportes, beIN Sports, Univision, Telemundo, Freeform, and QVC HD lodged into this pack.

FiOS TV Mundo Total provides you over 300 channels, with over 55 of them in HD format. Channels included in this plan are ESPN Deportes, beIN Sports, Univision, Telemundo, Freeform, and more.

Verizon FiOS Preferred HD

The first of the traditional TV plans, the FiOS TV Preferred HD plan comes complete with sports, music, comedy and travel programs. Within this package, you'll find over 315 channels, with over 95 of them in HD format. Your subscription to this plan also comes equipped with the FiOS On Demand library, filled with tens of thousands of titles. Examples of channels you'll find within the Preferred HD plan are Comedy Central, FOX News, MTV, TNT, ESPN, and Syfy.

Verizon FiOS Extreme HD

Looking for something a little more extreme? Well, the Extreme HD package may be for you. Included in this package are over 445 channels, with over 150 of them in HD. This package shines a spotlight on sports programming, as well as award-winning original series, popular films, and documentaries. You'll also receive access to the FiOS On Demand Library. Examples of channels featured in Extreme HD are the NFL Network, BBC America, FX, Showtime, HBO, and DIY.

Verizon FiOS Ultimate HD

Maybe 'extreme' isn't enough for you. Maybe you need a plan that fits your ultimate interests and lifestyle. If that is the case, then maybe the Ultimate HD package may be for you. With this package, you'll receive over 560 channels, with over 185 of them in HD. It's Verizon's most popular package, providing you with access to a wide variety of channels and access to FiOS On Demand.

You'll find all the premium channels - Cinemax, HBO, Showtime, Starz, The Movie Channel, and EPIX - in this plan.

Verizon FiOS TV Local

There is another, much smaller package to consider: the FiOS TV Local plan. FiOS TV Local is a great value plan that covers you when you need news and entertainment. You'll receive a total of over 60 channels, with over 15 of them in HD. The types of channels included in this plan are ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, The CW, and more.

Verizon Custom TV - Essentials

One unique aspect Verizon FiOS TV offers is Custom TV - Essentials. You'll be able to take advantage of customizing your plan with optional channel packs for an additional fee per month. You can choose between the Movie Lovers Pack, Kids, Teens, and Family Pack, or the Global Sports Pack.

You'll be able to catch the best live sports as well as lifestyle and entertainment channels. Additionally, you can add either the Movie Lovers Pack, Kids, Teens, and Family Pack, or Global Sports Pack for an additional fee per month.

Verizon FiOS Movie Channels

You may indulge in premium movie channels thanks to Verizon FiOS TV. Premium movie channels featured by Verizon FiOS TV are HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax, and EPIX. You can choose one premium package for one monthly fee, but if you bundle more, you'll save more.

Here is a quick description of each premium plan:

  • HBO - America's number one premium network and the home of Game of Thrones, HBO features some of the best programming around. You'll also access blockbuster movies every Saturday night, critically acclaimed documentaries, and World Championship Boxing. You'll also have access to HBO On Demand and HBO GO.
  • Showtime - Need to feast upon some critically-acclaimed series, popular movies, documentaries, and comedies? Showtime has got you covered. Also included in this package are Showtime On Demand, Showtime Anytime, The Movie Channel and FLIX.
  • Starz and Starz Encore - This package contains hundreds of hit movies and original series. What is also attached to this package is Starz On Demand and the official Starz App.
  • Cinemax - This HD premium channel is stuffed with the most movies and fewest repeats of any premium channel. Included in this package are Cinemax On Demand and MAX GO.
  • EPIX - Finally, you have EPIX. EPIX features Hollywood films that won't exactly be included on any other premium channel. You'll also have access to the EPIX App, which allows you to stream thousands of titles to your computer, smartphone, tablet, video game console, and more.

Verizon FiOS Sports Channels

Looking for Sports packages? Verizon FiOS TV offers four plans to choose from.

1. NHL Center Ice

You'll be able to watch up to 40 - and up to seven in HD - out-of-market NHL games every week, including select games from the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

2. NBA League Pass

You can view all the best NBA basketball games from around the country thanks to this pass. You can watch up to 40 out-of-market games every week throughout the regular season, including select games in HD.

3. MLS Direct Kick

With MLS Direct Kick, you can keep up with the best soccer matches. You'll be able to watch up to 239 MLS regular season matches, including regional broadcasts of MLS regular season and select MLS Cup playoff games. You'll also have access to pre- and post-game shows, wherever available.

4. MLB Extra Innings

Finally, Verizon FiOS TV offers MLB Extra Innings, a package that allows you to catch all the best MLB baseball games all over the country. You'll be able to watch up to 80 out-of-market games each week, including up to 75 games a week in HD. Even better is that you can follow your favorite teams, even if you don't live in your favorite teams' cities.

Verizon FiOS Weather Channels

Though plenty of channels, including local channels, offer updates on weather, you probably would like to have constant updates without waiting for the news. Well, fortunately for you, Verizon features a weather channel just for you. This is AccuWeather.

According to Gawker, Verizon shifted to AccuWeather after dropping The Weather Channel in March of 2015. The AccuWeather Network is on FiOS TV on channel 119/619 (HD), as well as on the free FiOS Mobile App. Verizon has also since provided customers with the FiOS TV WeatherBug "widget" application on FiOS TV channel 49.
