A few months ago I was contemplating changing cell phone carriers. the service at my home with not very good at all with another carrier. I was looking through the Internet And saw“ Hello mobil they seem to be a really good deal so I ordered a Sim card from them which was free! I was told I could call them when I had it activated and they could port my number over. whatever that means. That way I could keep my same phone number which I would want to do. I received the same card along with instructions and had since then already changed over to another carrier. So I never activated the Sim card never even put it in my phone. I didn’t saw my credit card statement that I was charged not only one time but twice from halo mobile the first time was the amount of $28 which I don’t know what they said that was. And then the next man I was charged $25 but I didn’t see the first charge in the beginning but once I saw that second charge I started really looking and saw that I was charged twice and so I proceeded to call hello mode I spoke with a young man who we got disconnected I could never get a hold of him again the second time I called spoke with another young man told him the situation let him know that I saw that charge and let him know that I saw the pending $25 charge he said no ma’am don’t worry about it you’re not gonna be charge for anything because it’s obvious you have not used it it will fall off so I weighed it and it never did, it was charged. I continue to call Helen mobile spoke with a young lady she was a supervisor and told her about the situation how many problems I was having trying to get through to anyone to help me what people were telling me she said she had to get it OK aid I said how come you have to get it OK aid when I never activated the card and I’ve never used your service. Young lady informed me she would call me back that day promised me she would call me back that day never heard a word nothing. I then I didn’t contact my credit card company and dispute the charges since hello mobile was not going to help me they reversed the charges contacted hello mobile gave me a refund of the first charge but then again return the payment to me on the $25. Hello mobile told my credit card company that I never canceled. Well how do you Cancel something you have never used? Just take my advice stay far far away, they are not an honest Company.
It took over 7 hours and we didn't even get our second sim activated. I had to call customer service all day and they kept on giving me the same advice over and over again by transferring me to different technicians. Once i asked the manager they had me waited for another 20 mins and then they said they were closing soon. When we asked for them to sent us a new SIM card they refused and told us to buy a new phone from their website, which is very sad, and upsetting. I know it was not my phone error because I bought it unlocked, no restrictions placed on the network. I was also very exited to use the hello mobile until it took forever to set up the second line. They have very poor quality and i even had to reset the phone and got all my pics and memories which was very upsetting. They even said the the phones were messed up, but even if they were they were the ones that messed it up. I would agree with all of the people that thought that Hello Mobile would have a bad customer service by how there treating the customers with such a POOR PRODUCT! There was only one person who did it different but it still didn't work. It's not good that they accused the device on how it's behaving because if they keep on trying the same thing how is that SERVICE. THEY WERE VERY VERY VERY RUDE and when I asked them to try a different way because I already tried it they would't. Even when I asked for a new sim card or REFUND MY MONEY THEY REFUSED TO BECAUSE OF THERE SO CALLED "POLICY." There was nothing we can do about that too, so i'm not surprised if they make a load of money off of people. If i could i send them a zero star or negative because of how bad the service is there. The fact that they tricked you with a low price then asked you to buy more stuff really irritates me. I wouldn't even think about switching to Hello Mobile again because of there poor service.
Bought the unlimited plan but can not set up service. However, did receive two messages reminding me to set up my line but was not allowed to. Only went to the price list. Says I can keep my own number still receiving a SIM card. Called customer service and waited 35 minutes but spoke to no one. Was given a survey about their service which all responses which were all 1s, very bad. Worst service.
