Don't Waste Your Time

At first I was super excited when I found Google fi as an option when switching phone carriers. Their customer service was incredibly helpful when walking me through getting my phone number unlocked from at&t, but after the number was released everything went downhill on Google's side. I haven't had access to calling or texting on my phone for 5 days and I use my phone for work. When speaking with their customer service they are unable to give me an answer as to what the issue is. In fact I have been hungup on multiple times when asking if I can speak to a hireup or someone on the team that is working on my issue. One of their customer representatives said that switching from at&t or Verizon to Google Fi is a known issue and that we would have better luck trying a different provider because they don't have a great process in place. I am also still being charged even though I have not been able to send or receive calls and texts.

Very bad service. Calls don't connect well.

Calls don't connect well. When connects there is static noise, echoes.. no complaints about price but service is very very bad

Great for international use

I think the best part about Google Fi is that data costs the same internationally. Before the pandemic, I traveled semi-regularly for work and it was great to know that I always had access to data without having to hunt down a Wi-Fi network or buy a prepaid SIM.
