Is Cricket Wireless phone service any good?
Don't expect to get a referral bonus
I referred my parents to switch to Cricket Wireless. I got the referral URL link and emailed it to them. They received the email and we clicked on the link. The link brought up a web page that said the referral code was emailed to them. We were in a hurry, so we didn't wait to actually receive the code and went to the store and activated new SIM cards with their existing phones. They never did receive a referral code - we looked in the spam folders and everything and it was never receive…d. So we logged into their new Cricket account and tried to get it to resend the code, but it said the email address we entered wasn't the same one (even though it was). After clicking the referral link and entering the email address, I was finally able to get a code, but now the system won't accept the code. I called customer service and they said that because their lines were already activated, we were no longer eligible for the bonus. Don't ever plan on getting a referral bonus from them!
I have been a long time customer
I have no problems with cricket
Considerate customer support
i've been with Cricket for 2+ years. So my payment of 60$ is due on the 21 of each month. well my job threw my pay day off by an entire week due to holidays so my cellphone bill wasn't being paid for. In need of a phone because of my job going with out a cellphone was a no-go. I contacted Cricket and let them know of my payday setback and that they didn't even 2nd guess it. They pushed my payday to the 2nd which was more days than I needed.
great customer service
Customer service is good. Everything was set up for me and explained. I wish the payments were a little lower and service slightly better, but overall I'm satisfied.
horrible coverage
The worst cell phone company out there. I've been with Cricket for 5 months now and haven't gotten one good month of service. It seems like every month a tower is gone. It causes for me to drop calls and get slow internet. I complain all the time to customer service but they don't do anything. They won't credit anything on to my account for the bad service but they sure take my $70 every month.
customer service didn't help!
I switched to Cricket Wireless 5 days ago and have 2.5 gigs of data. Yesterday I got a message saying I used all my data. I called customer service and asked them to explain to me how I used all of my data when I am disabled and use my wifi at home. I didn't get any clear answer from them and they couldn't solve the problem
