Is Metro by T-Mobile phone service any good?
Horrible cell reception and horrible customer serv
My phone is suspended even tho I paid five days ago and the money was taken from my account I spoke to three supervisors and nobody was able to come up with a solution and I still don’t have a phone , and if you live in lakemary or Sanford or Altamonte or Daytona or debary don’t expect any cell reception
Worst customer service ever. I have never been
Sales rep got angry. Refused to help me because I was asking "stupid" questions. Rep was unrelentless in degrading me
Service
Bad internet. Always offering promotional deals to get new customers but nothing for people who have been their customers for years. I'm switching. New company will give me a deal.
Horrible return policy
I purchased a new phone but couldn’t unlock it for 180 days, so I tried to return it and was told that upgrades are ineligible for refunds. I spent $500 that I can’t get back. I went in store to try and resolve this issue and the manager was horribly rude.
Their unlimited service gets slow almost stopped
Their unlimited service gets so slow the last week of every month that I can't even open up a web page

Too many dropped calls. Customer service is HORRIBLE. They hang up on you when trying to resolve an issue..
No Network?
This company is horrible. They messed up a whole lot with my phone service for months, because they kept giving me the wrong information regarding my application for Broadband service. As of last month Metro PCS has been getting paid $50 a month ($48 from Broadband), and this is the second month that they shut my phone down while disallowing phone calls by posting that I am not connected to a network, whenever I try to call anyone. They shut my phone off last month on December 24 until December …31, and they haven't refunded any money. They said that they did an investigation, but figured out nothing. It is the 12th of January and they shut my phone off again. I just applied for some jobs yesterday and I can't even receive any phone calls. This is terrible! I do not have access to another phone, so how am I supposed to get this problem resolved?
Incredibly bad
Bought a prepaid card for $40, when i tried applying the card to my account it said it had already been used so i called them and they said they’d fix it, phone service worked for one day and it stopped working again so repeated the same process with them 4 times. 5th time they asked for my credit card info as an ”authorization” thing to waive the need for the pre paid card this month, ended up charging me another $40. So i paid $80 for their $40 plan. Never again.
The coverage area is bad.
There coverage service area is bad. It's hard to get internet most of the time. Also, Metro only let's you tether services to another metro device. You can't tether to a TV or iPad. That doesn't help me. I'm going to drop them and go back to Cricket. I'll never use Metro or t-mobile again - horrors....
This company uses lying and bait and switch tactics
I called ahead of time. I told the company I was with and the type of phone I had. Asked about the $25 unlimited data and free phone. Was told, yes no problem. When I got to the store, saw the flyer on the door, with no exclusions, I went in intending to switch. Surprise. I was lied to in hopes of selling me a more expensive plan. You lost 4 potential customers.
Don't get into Metro... They are Bad!!!
After 7 years I'm looking my way out of this pathetic company without proper services. I need to call 4 times for simple change and they can't do it right so I must cancel my services for good. It's something outrageous when they Stupidity are so huge that they can't fix a simple issue. Disturbing and Disappointing 😞
Not bad as a backup service but don't rely on it
Have both mobile hotspot and 2 phones sold me a defective new 5g phone wouldn't exchange it or let me buy a better one and they let my data run out on Thanksgiving day. Don't rely on Metro for dependable service

I've had their employees lie to my face tell me they give me the ad for give me that which I never do Crooks scammers take advantage of their customers and there's nothing you can do about it so if you're looking for a reliable phone that will have service when you need it this is by not the place that you'll find it my recommendation don't you Metro PC unless you like being frustrated and wasting your time and money.
They are scam artist just like the rest of them.
I for starters have the worst time with their service. Its in and out constantly. Second issue is my plan. I pay the bill so that means my service should work just fine the entire period until my next payment is due. So how come each month just before the payment is due, I experience service so bad that I almost can't use the phone? I guess it's just a way you people do things in hopes to get your money faster. A SCAM. MY SERVICE SHOULD WORK FINE UNTIL THE BILL ISN'T PAID.
Bad customer service
I brought my phone for about a month and a half ago and they told me it's going to be $50 for unlimited plan and by the second month I see I have to pay $90 I went to the store they told me call the customer service I called the customer service they told me go to the store I go to the store they told me call the customer service I did it like five six times and nobody helped me In mean while I'm paying $90 a month because no one can help me
They made mistakes you pay the price
Plain and simple had Metro for 6 years never had a problem with the insurance what some expensive phones all of a sudden I had no insurance and they can't give me any answers
Dishonest company
Switched from Boost Mobile. Metro DID NOT apply their advertised promotion for Boost Customers switching to Metro. Charged me over $60.00 for first month's service instead of the $25.00 per month for the next 24 months. I went to several stores. The first two never even heard of this promotion. I get home and can't sustain a data connection. After 10 days of this, I called to cancel my account but couldn't because of the 2 week policy by Metro that new plans have to wait two weeks… before they can be changed. Very BAD experience.
T MOBILE HAS RUINED METRO PCS! Ruined it!
Metro pcs had just gotten reliable with dependable coverage and signal and of course affordable,than the Day T mobile took over ,metro pcs coverage,internet speed and overall service became the slowest worse cellphone service I've ever had.hands down.
TMobile ruined a good thing
I was so happy with my MetroPCS service, never had any issues. That is until TMobile took over. It's been a nightmare ever since. I can hardly even text half the time (the main reason I use a phone) or send photos. The service went massively downhill. I've tried adjusting my phone and doing anything I can to improve my experience but nothing has worked. It's absolutely frustrating and ridiculous that in 2021 I would feel like I'm living in the early 2000s. Because I had TMobi…le back then and it certainly seems like nothing has improved since then! Sad!
