Is Tello phone service any good?
Dead zones
The coverage decent - it's what you pay for but I'm still a bit disappointed. There are dead zones where I get either very little or no coverage.
Flawless performance
It took a few days for my SIM card to arrive which is longer than I would have liked but after about an hour of tinkering it's working flawlessly.

Inexpensive
You're almost, ALMOST perfect Tello, but I can't add my watch to your data plan! Hopefully someday my watch is able to share my phone's data plan.

The service is reliable but the internet is slow. Good price at least.

Slow connection.
Not worth it. Moving to other carrier. When you exhaust the data. Even you upgrade to more data. Dataspeeds don't improve. I am stuck at 0.01Mbps. Avoid.
Works east
I oit used all Sprint towers NOT, but west of the missouri no connections. So if you are going west of Omaha or KC don't expect coverage. LOL on a 5k trip through the mountains it only worked in Sheridan WY, wish they had a REAL coverage map! Works great if you're in the coverage area

here is the email I sent to them: I am very concerned about what happened last week. In order to keep my minutes, you require me to renew manually. I tried to, the way I always have, by phoning in a payment. Without notice, this time your staff asked a bunch of questions and said that they wouldn’t take my payment. I phoned at least ten times to pay you, with little luck. Apparently, you’re doing things differently and you decided not to inform me. I was on my way out of town and it wa…s the last day to pay without losing the minutes. Your staff refused my payment, refused to let me speak with a supervisor several times, hung up on me, insisted that I “log on to my account,” retrieve a password that I never received by email, etc. ad nauseum. I don’t have internet service and I do little business on the internet. Your staff insisted that they emailed me and “you need to log on to your account.” The only thing that worked was when I phoned and shouted continuously for over fifteen minutes at your worker. They then decided to accept my payment, and they said that they won’t do it again until I learn their new regulations, rules, processes and payment procedures. I requested an apology for the mistreatment. Your staff declined saying that didn’t do anything wrong. The poor service and the large amount of time it took just to pay my bill has forced me to reconsider keeping your service. Please offer a financial remedy and apology for the horrible experience I had with your staff last week while just conducting routine business like paying a bill.

Coverage
The customer service is a bit rude. They enforced me to fix a problem I couldn't handle. You know, I needed help from them because I couldn't solve the problem. The customer service wasn't helpful for me.

Tello is easily the best low-priced phone service I've used in a long time. Not only is the cellular coverage decent but customer service is very friendly.
