Considering we are a family of four and are very heavy on streaming our internet with Netflix and gaming the internet speed is great, sometimes it lags slightly but not very often.

Due to moving I signed up for Charter and was given an installation date. I moved into my property earlier than expected and would have had to wait another 2 weeks for my installation, but the rep I spoke to managed to move it forward and it was done within 3 days.

The cost of the service may be cheap, but that's why you pay for what you get. I am on the phone to charter AT LEAST twice a month with problems and each time they come up with a different excuse.

Charter's packages are a little bit pricy, but I have been with them for 2 years now and have found them to be one of the best with customer and tech support. Any time there are any issues, and that is very rare, a tech support rep can normally guide me through any fixes.

You can't fault the customer service from Charter and that clearly is a priority for them. Now down to the bad bit...the TV service and DVR are very unreliable. It can sometimes take 10 minutes to just get the TV guide up, and they can't seem to fix the issue. Still waiting....

Perfect service form Charter. They answer their phone straight away and installation took place quickly and technician advised me when he was on the way and turned up on time. So far so good!

I did not want to cancel my charter internet as I love the service and have never had a problem, but moving to an area that is not covered I had no choice. I expected it to take a long time, but Charter were brilliant with the cancellation, no hassles at all. As soon as I can I will be back!

The only good thing is the customer service and the reps at the end of the phone. When I had an issue with my internet they sent a tech guy out to fix it, he was rude and was unhelpful and made the problem worse. When I called back the support team, the guy I spoke to talked me through a couple of things to try and eventually we fixed it, with then help of the support agent over the phone.

I have been with Charter internet for about 6 months and not once have I ever experienced the advertised speeds. The customer agents may be friendly, but that doesn’t make my internet speed any faster! I will be moving as soon as I can leave my contract.

The worst thing when you rely on your internet connection is to be stuck in a contract with a company who’s service is totally unreliable and never get the speeds you were promised. That is Charter. Don’t let the packages and prices fool you. If you need reliability go elsewhere.
