Could make calls and text, but when it comes to issues it took several emails before I got someone's attention, but then only lip service.
Can't recommend an annual plan, at least with Red Pocket, and can't recommend this provider. The 500/500/500 plan looks good, but with a series of problems. The issues are below and continue, worst among them relate to customer service.
--- no response from customer service to a single one of our many email requests documenting issues.
--- we can't access our account - locked out after just a couple of days of establishing it. password reset multiple times successfully - it just will not let us in. emails go unanswered and unacknowledged.
--- making calls can at times suffer delays before calls are connected, but are fine once established.
--- texting pics doesn't work. Got 500mb data active. Regular texts work fine. No response...
--- convenient BAL text to 3888 worked till about 4/12/19, and ever since never returns anything. Can't access account and can't use BAL. How do you check your balance? CS doesn't respond to emails inquiring why? Run out of minutes and we're at hard stop - no service. Unacceptable.
I had a good experience with customer service with Red Pocket! I'm not the most technical person when it comes to phones and got a nice customer service representative who was patient with me in setting up my new phone. Customer Service is something people forget these days and it goes a long way.
If you're going to try Red Pocket I sure hope you have alot of time on your hands to deal with customer service. I tried to get my SIM working with my new phone and spent 3 hours with multiple agents trying to get it working. This was after being hung up on about every 30 minutes after calling back. Very unprofessional company.
