Red Pocket is the best bang for your buck. You'll have access to all of the carriers. Almost everything worked as expected and the one issue I had the customer service rep effectively helped me. The only issue is that the setup instructions are confusing.
I feel ripped off! The signal is terrible so I guess you get what you pay for. Avoid RedPocket if you want good phone service.
The unlimited plan is such a sham. They will cut you off from your data if you use too much not even throttle!
Been paying for Red Pocket for 2 yrs now and it continues to be the best decision I ever made. The phone is great and the customer support is knowledgeable and friendly. They make sure the service stays running smoothly for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Red Pocket!
I go fishing often in a rural area and even though the coverage map said I was covered. Turns out there was no SERVICE and when I tried to get a refund they refused. Don't go with these thiees.
Unlimited isn't unlimited! RED POCKET WILL COMPLETELY CUT YOU OFF! Red Pocket will cut you off for heavy usage. I got cut off when the company thought I was texting too much. I didn't even get a warning!
This has been the best provider I've ever used! Thank goodness Red Pocket exists! It saves me $100s each year!
I keep having technical issues but the customer service has been very friendly and helpful. It's also a cheap service.
It took a whole week to get my sim card. Constantly get zero and one bars in my own house. Customer service has been very useless and unable to solve my problems. Strangers keep texting me and I get a lot of spam. I feel like they sold my number to marketers.
RED POCKET PRICING IS AMAZING!!!!! LOVE THIS SERVICE!!!
Good service but I've been getting a lot of spam calls.
I would give Red Pocket 0 out of 5 stars if I could but here are just a few issues I have with the company: they sell you a cheap plan thanks to a promotion but they already pulled it right in the 2nd month because I "used too many minutes." I purchased unlimited minutes so why am I not getting unlimited minutes? Don't call it unlimited then!
Listen when I say that the customer service for Red Pocket is some of the worst I've ever seen.
My data speeds always seem to be throttled. What gives? Moving onto another provider.
Excellent provider. Very good network coverage and affordable pricing.
Verizon service for over half the price is why I signed up for Red Pocket and the switch has been worth it so far. Thanks Red Pocket!
bad customer service, 40 min waiting and they are still not able to fix it, I'm done
Been slowly getting better. Had issues at first but now I can actually send pics to my friends from my phone.
It's decent service and network but not the best.
This is a great value! Just be prepared for the a mediocre customer service experience when you need to call them about registration and renewing your plan.
I haven't had any problems with RedPocket at all. Hell, I even had customer service wait on ME while I was on another live customer chat trying to get my number ported there. Yes, they waited on me in real time. The service is fine and I have not had a single issue with them so far.
I feel like MoneySavingPro keeps attracting those who only have problems, and as a result, lots of MVNOs end up with bad reviews, even if that's not the full picture.
I've wasted HOURS trying to resolve simple issues cause by their billing system. You can wait forever on either chat or voice responses. Red Pocket's portal providing 'wait' times is a cruel joke. Starts off with '12 minutes', five minutes later it jumps to '17 minutes' and goes back and forth like that for up to 45 minutes (today), and even more. I'm still WAITING! Phone is as bad or worse, and then no help when you get hold of a human. I get the impression customer service if one tiny person in a 60 square foot office in Mumbai. I am paying more to change my provider! Life's too short to try to deal with such an insane system!
Hours spent with customer service. Very polite and apologetic but were unable to resolve voicemail notifications not showing up and iphone messenger not showing "blue" messages when sent from another iphone. Very frustrating when I was disconnected from customer service several times, probably were hung-up on. Red Pocket Verizon sim (from another phone) worked almost flawlessly.
Got unusable GSM sim from provider when CDMA requested. Hours on the phone to RP to no avail - they just kept referring to ebay and would not provide activation code for existing CDMA sim. Working with RP was a living hell.
Could make calls and text, but when it comes to issues it took several emails before I got someone's attention, but then only lip service.
