Optimum Review: Is it worth it?

I didnt care about stopping live tv or rewinding live tv shows so I cancelled it. I was surprised I was able to just record a show. This is ridiculuous you have to pay a fee now just to record a show which I have been doing for the last 40 years. Now we have to pay to do this? I dont understand I dont care about those other things you can do with live tv, just want to record a show once in a while and now its being charged. Bring back the antenna

Reduced service to get channels we wanted. Phone service we did not need but had take it for triple play. No dedicated Sports channels. That requires channels you never watch

I have been a customer for years. I called because I was going to switch to Verizon. I was told I could have the new customer package, so I agreed. However, that is not what I received and am still being over billed because they added additional services that I neither asked for no agreed to. They did this bringing my actual bill to the amount that was already way above what I want to pay. And the internet is just a unreliable and slow as it has always been. I feel ripped off by them and find the need to keep calling and complaining to be a waste of my time.

Our Optimum connection keep dropping, so after calling tech support who checked from their end for any issues, could not fix it and sent a technician the next day who made a few fixes, changed the modem and all was back up and running within 24 hours. Great service Optimum.

I've never had anything but great customer service and internet speed from Optimum at a very good price!
