Is Spectrum Mobile phone service any good?
Bad Service
I ordered an apple watch because they didn't have any in stock at the store, it was delivered 2 day shipping, someone stole my watch out of the box before I got it. I called spectrum and they said it would be 2 weeks or more before I could get another one and I have to keep paying on the watch even though I wont have it for about a month. Terrible customer support/service.
Do it yourself activation is a joke
Spectrum mobile advertisements are a joke. I signed up for the service and paid for my Sim card to be mailed to me. They said it would be easy and sent steps to install it and activate my current phone. Their website does not allow you to log in. They set up a user name for you and don't give you a password so when you go to try to log in all you get is an error code. You can't set up a new username because you can't log in to the one they set up for you. They advertise that it&…#039;s easy to install and while yes I would have saved half my current cell phone bill they don't make it easy at all it is impossible to set it up and activate it on your own. Super disappointed with spectrum mobile. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is folks. Lesson learned.

If you don't have this by now you don't care about the best value, not only am I saving money I am getting the same network (Verizon) coverage. It's a no brainer, just switch over.
Trash mpbile service.
I had the service for 3 days and called in because they want to charge me a full 45 dollars for 3 days of service. I was able to speak with a person who tried to get a ticket to adjust the amount but I have not heard anything back. It did not work even downtown the most I got was 3g. 4g was nonexistent. With Verizon, I got 5g everywhere. Verizon prioritizes its own company before Spectrum mobile. I can't believe that they are trying to charge me the full amount for 3days of trash service. N…o I have not paid and guess what I wont pay if this is what they do. you are ripping off people. No one should pay for something that they don't use fully.
They will rob you!
I was sent a terrible phone on new service. Hated it. Sent it back in the same condition that I received it. But they charged me $50 restocking and another $200 because they said it was "C" Grade. Scam. Stay away. They will rob you.
Terrible service the worst I ever had
People call my huz phone just to tell they were calling me and it’s gone to voicemail then I would look at the phone no service no bars omg I would have rather pay my high bill every month then to accept this you get what you pay for

I switched from Boost to Spectrum Mobile and let me tell you this was one My Best decision... Go for it....
Mobile Phone Issues
I have spoken to four different customer svc. reps with four different costs. All wrong. Just got and email with my new bill. $90.84 and one of the reps told me it could never go above 35.00 on the plan I have. Please train your people properly. Disgusted in Palm Coast Fl.
Poor customer service
They will give any answer just to transfer you to someone else or to end the call, I feel they don't care about resolution. What really irks me is I've been a customer every since they came to this area, I signed up for the mobile for simplification. I moved to a place that provides Wi-Fi for free, well now Spectrum Mobile charges me $20/line since I don't have their internet anymore. I gave 2 stars because service is good, I just feel like they don't care about their cust…omers.
Bad decision
I have been an spectrum customer for over 5 years so I decided to try out the mobile and that’s the worst mistake I could’ve made I pay for unlimited data in which Thats throttled down once you get to 30g the phone is in and out of service and customer service is terrible
Worst service ever
I started my service on 5/10/21 and had problems with the phone and the network. Spectrum did nothing to correct the issue. I was calling every week about an issue with the phone reception. The phone went out for three days and they gave me a $10 credit. I was finally fed up and tried to change back to T-Mobile but they blocked it and said I had to pay Spectrum $220 for a phone that never worked. The representatives gave conflicting information, the sales clerk didn't disclose importan…t information about the phone. When I called Spectrum, I was transferred to 5 different people and not one did anything to accommodate me. I would not recommend Spectrum to anyone. NOt only is the network crappy but the customer service is a joke. Worst company ever!
Nightmare!
Bought a new phone. Was told by the salesperson that with my trade in and the Samsung discount offer I would owe nothing. I didn't believe him and he sent me message showing my cost would be zero. Spectrum said he would be retrained and they could not be responsible for his error. WHAT!!! Wrote corporate and they had my complaint reviewed. Which was a joke. So, Spectrum is dishonest, liars and deceiving. Welcome to corporate America.
Eww. Terrible customer service.
Got a text notification on 6/11/2021 "You have used 80% of your data plan with 26 days left in your plan." So, in order to avoid hundreds of dollars in overages I upgraded both lines to unlimited. NOT WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR. The CSR could not or was unwilling to tell me how the data was used. (Remember, 80% used in 4 days) I called very early in the day so I wouldn't have to be on hold forever. Instead I got to wait on hold for 14 minutes to talk to the same person I had just talk…ed to, or her mother. I talked my 83-year-old parents into switching to Spectrum mobile plus two friends and their partners. Now I am worried about "overages" they might run into. I was VERY happy with my $14 a month. Glad to add-on another $14 so my disabled adult could have a phone too. (Gave her an S9 for her 40th birthday on April 14.) So terribly disappointed with the billing and customer service. They just didn't know what to do. I feel like they did not understand the issue I have, and didn't have the resources or ability to resolve it.

Very poor customer service. Wouldn’t doubt getting treated better on the streets dealing with the underworld.

I switched from AT&T because of cos it has been great no problems at all. I felt like I had to leave a review because I know people are real quick to complain but not to complement. This company gets a bad rap mostly because people dont like to pay the price
worst customer service ever
Spectrum would receive negative stars, if only I could. I have had the service now for 2 1/2 months, and still don't have a working phone. (I cancelled my service today). There have been too many problems to list them all here. It all started when I received my phone. Two days later, I dropped it a foot onto a table, and it quit working. Spectrum would not replace it, so it had to go back to Samsung. The repair guy said it was due to update issues, and not the hardware or drop. Spec…trum suggested I get insurance to cover my next phone, even though all of them have the same software programs, and are also very outdated. (She suggested I buy a better one...12th is same series, when mine was the first....for only $700). I was also promised $104 credit on my old phone that I mailed in 2 months ago. The company that was sent to, had received it a month and half ago, but I still haven't received the credit. But you can guarantee I'll be charged for a service and phone that has NEVER worked, and I have NEVER been able to use. My advice: Don't walk....RUN away from Spectrum as fast as you can.
Dude Spectrum Mobile is hands down THE BEST
Dude Spectrum Mobile is hands down THE BEST cell phone service service. For $45 a month you get unlimited data, with FAST hotspot included. With an additional $7 a month you get insurance on your device, which just covered me running over my phone. THEY SENT A REPLACEMENT IMMEDIANTLY WITH ONE DAY DELIVERY TO MY HOUSE FOR A DEDUCTIBLE OF $40. The data speeds are fast, my GPS doesn't cutout and randomly reroute like Metro PCS, Sprint, or Boost Mobile would. I've had a lot of phone prov…iders but Spectrum Mobile is defiantly the best bang for your buck. 10/10 would recommend
Customer service is a joke.
Horrible experience after 3 years of god service. It doesn't take 4 days to put a new Sim in & get it on. I had to change services & it was on in 5 minutes. It was a brand new compatible phone purchased through Samsung! Nuts. No explanation, no help, no resolve. & when I begged for a supervisor they only called back on the line they knew wasn't working! Don't use. If you don't purchase their phones then they suddenly can't get a sim to work. Everyone kn…ows a new sim will work immediatly.
LIARS
Coverage is OK but don't buy a phone. Salesman said I'd owe nothing for phone. I even had him send me a text conversation confirming. They are billing me 500 bucks. Can't get any response from non existent customer service. I even wrote to corporate. Nothing!!! Screwed.
Terrible, stay away at all costs.
I came over from Sprint and Had verizon for 14 years before that. Spectrum screwed up from the beginning and are incompetent and useless to help resolve it. They messed up my porting my number, send the wrong phone, on the first phone I had insurance plan, then when they fixed the error and send the right phone the agent didn't put my insurance back on and they stuck me with that mistake, they state they will send the phone next day, it's two day. So if you have to work and need to p…lan you are screwed, the customer support in Hollywood were so rude, unprofessional they were not solution based or driven. Just a sharp tongue making you feel stupid. When asked to review my contract to verify my insurance wasn't on there they said to call customer support for help. Even though they knew I didn't have my phone it was stolen. I live alone in the city and don't have roommates or family to use their phone. I have been phoneless for over 9 days because of their incompetence. Stay away from this company they suck.
