Awful, sent me phone that did not work. Took to Florence Ky store. He couldn't even take a picture with it. Now they are charging me for a damaged phone. I never even got to use it. BEWARE

They rob you

Worst decision ever made was leaving straight talk for spectrum

customer service and tech support terrible

I order the device using the 14 day return, call customer for return and were tracking still in transit after being on phone for hour so I checked with shipper and were told the package were recieved 3 days after delivery spectrum say they did not have it so thirty days past they started the manager game of call back and today no call been five days I get a e-mail stating they just recteived the package they past the 14 day time return is past they are sending it back after they had black listed it and file a claim on fedex and tell me I has to pay the purchase price of the device, and every 90 days they would charge me for service along with balance due

Service is horrible. FedEx lost my phone.

FedEx lost a replacement phone and Spectrum says I have to wait until they get the claim settled to order a new one. Going on 2 weeks with no follow up.

Terrible service. They are not that helpful.

You get what you pay for. When you get a cheap price then they try to get your money in other ways. I was sold a Iwatch not compatible with my iPhone for $350. When I tried to return it because I can not use it, I was told sorry you must pay for it.

I'd like to say thank you. Here in Charlotte I dealt with Jeanaya, at your South Blvd. store. She was focused and professional over the almost hour and a half to figure out some of the 'in's and out's' of my contract of 24 plus years with another provider. But she did it without complaint and set up my two phones flawlessly. Oh! and with humor and some laughs. So...thank you. My best to your company and to the employee's who work to make it a great one....VG

So Disappointing

So I went in to sign up for spectrum mobile because I already had the internet which is one of the requirements to have mobile service with them but when I go to sign up I get treated like a second-class citizen First my credit is ran without even being notified that there was a credit pull being done.. then the customer service rep precedes to tell me that I didn't qualify for financing which is confusing to me because my credit score is in the mid 700 so? That was weird... then after I decide to pay out right for the phone he tells me I can't have the phone that's currently in stock there that I have to wait till the phone is mailed out to me.. what kind of bullcrap, I have never heard off.. you want me to pay for a phone and then have to wait to get it in the mail when you have it in hand in stock ready to sell..no thank you I do not recommend Spectrum unless you want a headache and bad service... So disappointing

Customer service varies Among stores

Customer service was excellent at one store and the absolute worst in another. I attempted to upgrade my phone under my current plan with spectrum at the Latham New York store and receive the absolute worst customer service. The sales associate was Incompetent and turned her frustration onto me. I asked to see the manager and rather than inquire as to what the problem was told me to leave the store and never come back in a loud voice and the presence of other customers in the store. The store manager and sales associate Should be severely reprimanded if not fired further absolute poor customer service and demeaning attitude I left the Latham New York store and went to the Albany New York store in Colonie center. Here I was greeted in a friendly matter and was treated with the upmost respect by a sales associate named Malcolm Hinnant Malcolm arrange for my new phone to be ordered and when it arrived he happily was able to transfer my data from my existing phone to my new phone. He also helped me make sure my old phone was returned so I would receive the appropriate credit. Spectrum should hire more people like Malcolm and less people like the store manager and associate at the Latham New York store By the way I love my new phone it works perfectly Malcolm did an excellent job setting it up Thank you for listening to my comments and I hope you take appropriate action to reward Malcolm and to reprimand the store manager in the Latham New York store

My service reception&internet is terrible

Drop calls voice going in an out Bluetooth connection is bad internet is slow an buffering but yet I pay 300 plus a month for unlimited service but seems like I’m paying for limited service this is the worst service I’ve had on any mobile carrier scale 1-10 I give it a four very disappointed an dissatisfied

Predatory

Service is fine but their policies are extremely outdated. If your bank happens to have a hiccup, there is a $25 fee for it. You heard me right, a $25 fee for any failed payment. Service is fine, but they are absolute sharks. Find a different provider if you have the choice.

Terrible service, poor support, not a good option

I left TMobile due to inconsistencies in service, and this has been worse

It's cheap, good right? Until it stops working...

We bought in on the idea of a provider that works over the internet. I live in one of the cell coverage dead zones that only verizon provides basic coverage on. Verizon has become less than ideal with huge costs and terrible customer loyalty programs. So we switched. Spectrum's half the price, and unfortunately, works only half the time. Any time we travel, the phones lose the network and no longer function. Picture messages barely work at all and part of the time they won't call out or send text messages even with full internet coverage. Despite the selling point, if it can't see a tower, it will cease to function if it doesn't realize that the service is going to disappear and it needs to be wifi reliant, which happens wearily often.... Half price for half service... 2021 folks.... here's to the future....

Random service at most frequented areas, no level of intelligent support, only way to make these people understand is to hold your money from them till they call (if they can), and hope they will fix your issue (probably not). ABSOLUTE TRASH, AVOID IF POSSIBLE......

Rip off, deceitful practices, no many options

My wife and recently saw Spectrum Mobile offering mobile service at $15 per line per month. We have 5 lines and we thought that sounded great! My wife made the switch over the phone with a rep and the transition appeared smooth. Now, I will say we didn't read up on the details much but the rep DID NOT explain we were paying by the gig. We were looking forward to about a $100 phone bill, turns out it was $253! Again, I understand we didn't read up on it more so that's on me. The fact that the rep never mentioned the billing details is very disappointing! My wife called to fix the problem and they're really wasn't anything cost effective except going unlimited for $300 a month. So friends, beware and ask more questions because they won't make it clear to you.

It have been nothing but a nightmare dealing with them. I would recommend them to no one.

A nightmare if you want to leave

I drank the koolaid and bundled the internet, tv and mobile. Once I dropped the internet (terrible connection), tv ( super expensive), Spectrum added $20 a line ($40) extra to my bill to the tune of $175. It took over five days to just get the info to transfer to Verizon. Then Spectrum charged me a full month's service anyway. They don't have contracts because they make it a nightmare to leave. Worse company ever. Do not do business with Spectrum.

they do not have internet and phone service across

I was told they had 98% coverage cross the country for phone and internet service. I went camping two different locations in the same month had no phone service or internet service. No I wasn't in the woods I was in an open area. I had to drive from the campground 15 miles to finally get two bars to use my internet for work. When I called customer service they said well we see that you were using your phone and internet so we can't give you any discount towards your bill. Of course I had used internet and phone service at the times I drove to get it. I was just on the phone with a man for an hour refused to give me any type of discount. I felt like I was being cross-examined in a courtroom the way they question me. I am not out to just get free service from them.. when I called them the first time the young lady offered me a $25 credit I said no that is not the right amount for the service I did not get she said she'd have somebody call me back within 48 hours I received no phone call back that brings me to today I had to call them. I had repeat my situation a total of six times of what was going on with me. In the end they said we can't give you any credit I said then why is it you were in the beginning you were willing to offer me $25 credit. Don't believe these people. I am now waiting for an upper management to call me back. I will let you guys know if they call me back and if there was any positive resolution to the situation. I don't really want to put all my pennies in one basket about getting a phone call back because I didn't last time

Horrible customer service especially in store

I had Spectrum mobile for months. It was fine. Then all of the sudden terrible data speeds and constant dropped calls. I left for Visible. What a nightmare! No customer service and no cell service for days. So I went back to the devil I know....Ported my phone from Visible to Spectrum on Saturday. As of Monday night I still don't have service! Every time I call I get a different time estimate of when it will be done and reason why it's not done yet. One agent told me to go to the store for immediate help to activate my service. At the store (La Quinta, CA) they didn't have a clue how to help me and were SUPER RUDE on top of it. I'm done with this company. The little money you save is not worth the massive amount of aggravation that it comes with. I'm done! I'm taking my business to a real cell service provider.

Worst I store and phone service evet

Tried for a week to change mobile carrier. In store, Laura at Southern Pine gave nothing but incorrect info. After 3 in store tries got to talk to Sarah in Tampa Bay. Walked and supported me thru every process and after a week finally completed the transfer and installation.
