Price, Verizon Service, Uses some old phones
If you've used any other cell carrier besides the big 4 (At&t, Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile) then you will know all of them have their quirks - service, cheap phones, weird plans, data, fees, etc. Charter mobile is very new and if your looking to save money and use most of the same towers as verizon, this is a win. We came from Sprint. You can't get much worse then Sprint. We were with Sprint since the Nextel days. Every year they promised it would get better and it did. Its no where n…ear as good as Verizon, even if your using second rate Verizon towers. Much of these complaints are self inflicted. Many of these complaints are not. Charter sucks as a company, horrible front line support, horrible service, rude, but there are some good people in there and when you find one, everything usually works out. Either way if you want to save money and use your phone for calls\text $14 a month for Verizon is unbeatable especially if you own your phone. We use our Sprint Galaxy S8+ phones. Turn on Wifi Calling, use Charter wifi hotspots, and save hand fulls of money. Once the phones die, who knows will we go back to Verizon or stay with Charter? No one is telling you you have to stay with one or the other. Find the best deal, find the best service. Never settle until you are happy.

I would not recommend Spectrum Mobile to anyone. Don’t even think about it. You will be wasting your money!!!!
Service and customer service are terrible
Did not have service in the surrounding are where we work. Got the run around until we were out of return period. Won’t honor anything they say. Return stocking fee, if there so much as a scratch you own $350. Everyone here contradicts each other and lies. This is literally the worst unethical company I have ever dealt with.
Poor customer service
I ordered two iPhones I realized later that my Apple Watch could not be switched over to spectrum mobile. I contacted them to return the phones. I spoke with someone who asked me questions and the entire process was like 40 minutes. She stated she needed to fill out an application for the return. Only at the end of the call for her to inform me that the department that actually process the return will review the application and call me back in 24-48 hours. When I didn’t get a call in that time… frame I called back and got another representative who processed to ask me the same questions I was asked 48 hours later, I stopped her and told her that I went through that process already and I just wanted to return the phone. She informed me that the previous representative was wrong it actually takes 72 hours before I will get a call from the department that process the return and they will send me the return label after they speak to me. I am so disappointed and beyond words. To return a phone that I have not used is taking this long. I think they are stalling so they can charge me for the phone after 14 days. Please do your research and stay away from this one. If they are doing this to return a phone I can’t imagine what they are doing to current customers.
Costumer service and the bs they pull
Not a very good one said I had to get a new phone now you can keep your own but they won’t let me use my brand new iPhone sitting in the drawer

Was sold 2 phones and was told by the salesman the bill would be 25$ a mo. For each phone. Because they have this awesome hotspot coverage that our phones would "automatically connect to",so we wouldn't have to pay hardly anything.well long story short.no hotspot anywhere in a 50 mile radius of where I live. Went to send the brand new phones back and was charged 100$ restocking fee.when I complained about the hotspot the first thing they said was " well you can upgrade to pr…emium for 49.95$ a month" ( bait and switch) they straight up lied about their hotspot bullshit and got us for 100$ on phones we never got to use. They were paperweights...useless all this plus many hours with customer service and waiting by the phone..wow what a total nightmare!!! Lesson learned. This company is scamming people.plain and simple.
Dropped calls snd few coverages area's
I was told if I switched from Verizon I'd get to keep the same phone..had to change phones and buy their phone. I was told they have the same coverage as Verizon since they use Verizon towers. I asked if this was true because I do work in remote areas and Verizon can reach so I can get GPS and phone coverage....no bars!! I drop calls pretty much every time I use the phone locally. I'm switching back to Verizon and paying off the spectrum phone.

Switched from Verizon and savings over $100/mo. Great customer service, fast call response. I don't see any down sides. Brought my own Iphone8 and activated online.
Customer service, conflicting answers
Mom canceled landline and was duped to believe she had to switch her cell from consumer cellular to SPECTRUM. Forced to buy a smart phone she couldn't use. No one knew if she was dead or alive because she couldn't answer, didn't know how to get VM or texts. Hubby and I drove 90 miles to get her a flip phone at a $30. A month store VERIZON service. Customer service rep Susi had no idea what to do. Mom owed for the rest of the phone she never used, but couldn't pay off in store…. Had to go call. Ray said we had to pay it off at the store after being on hold for 50 minutes. Susi reluctantly made the call and it was paid off. Mom has never known how to internet yet Spectrum has provided service for 26 years. My husband is an attorney and if we can find enough customers who have had similar experiences and are livid as we are and don't want the elderly taken advantage of, let us know.
They are unethical and criminals
Don't go with this company. They are Criminals and thieves. I kind of hope this advertisement continues to show up in my feed everyday. Just so I can maybe stop one person from being screwed over. Had spectrum internet and mobile. Cancelled internet so they blocked my access to my spectrum mobile account online. Found another carrier with cheaper prices. Spectrum refused to give me my account number so I could port my number. Luckily found an old piece of mail that came with my phone that h…as it on there. Then when I called to have them delete my payment information and let them know they were no longer authorized to use my card. They refused to delete my payment information. So I had to call my bank to cancel that card and have them send me another. Just don't do it, everyone. Anything is better than spectrum.
its a scam-i was told i could bundle my cell phone
i was told i could bundle my cell phone with my cable and internet to save money.that turned out to be a scam.
they lie to keep you from making a return
what a nightmare. i didnt like the phone they recomended online and when it came it had no return label. got the runaround for a week only have a couple days left to return.

This is the worst company ever . They lied to me and sent me a cell phone to try it. I didn’t like it . You have option to return it in two weeks. They supposed to sent me a ticket to return the cell phone which I never got it.. after two weeks I had to pay the cell phone that I never use it. Don’t ever get a plan with them they steal your money ..
Poor customer service
I was bad wanting to switch from sprint to spectrum. Only because I wanted to save money. I am so glad I looked into the reviews on spectrum mobile.. after reading the reviews about poor customer service and the quality of service I decided to stay with my carrier instead. I am soooooooo glad I didn't waste my time.. as for those who did I am sorry you had to go through something so horrible.
Customer Service
My wife and I just switched. They have very few retail outlets so they fedex your new phones. My wife's new phone was defective. Now we're dealing with FedEx trying to get a replacement delivered, but the combined incompetence of the two companies has left my wife without a working phone for almost a week now. I've spoken to both customer service departments, and they are unable to help. DO NOT SWITCH TO SPECTRUM MOBILE
they lie about most things
They get your card info and take varying wrong amounts , lie.lie.lie about most everything , will replace the phone lg Stylo 4 with insurance (paid 250) or else you can't replace it , you have to now buy a 500.00 or more- iPhone or Galaxy after just 4 months and your phone is stolen. eBay sells Stylo 4 for 70.00 by the way.. DEFINITELY NOT a good choice.
Unacknowledged Representatives
I signed up with Spectrum for a unlimited plan they sign me up for a gigabyte plan charged me then switch me over to the correct plan charge me just for one line I have to pay $131. I feel like a con game has been played on me
