Only been a Costumer for 3 weeks so far it's good

Bought new iPhone from spectrum and switched to their service. No signal from my home, work and intermittent on the road in between. I switched back to AT&T, but spectrum will not unlock my phone, and said I have to have active service for 60 days before they can unlock it. I called customer service 10 times and even finally spoke to a supervisor after a week of calling. He refused to unlock my phone and escalated it to a director. Now I wait for another week for them to call me a…nd let me know if they will unlock my phone. spectrum is horrible for mobile phone service. Stay away!!!Show more

My experience has been atrocious. Not only were we misled and misinformed from the moment we signed up for it, we've had nothing but glitched with the mobile app and website. Also, customer service seems to refuse to assist the customer with any real issue. They seem to expect the issue will work itself out. So either the employees do not want to take a difficult call, they don't have the power to actually assist the customer, or a combination of both. They told me I'd get $100 credit if I traded my old phone in. It's been almost 5 months and still no $100. They keep using different excuses. I gave them 1 week or I'm switching to a different provider. Don't fall for their lies!

Decided not to even look at the “savings” after reading the reviews and seeing that they don’t care about their customers!!! I refuse to pay people to lie to me or swindle me!!!

I been with spectrum sense February 2019. My bill was 100 or more every month. The first phone I received was a defect then they went in my back account and took 1,100$ when the phone was supposed to be a exchange happy to be with the REAL Verizon

Used their services for two weeks and when I cancelled my services, they claimed I would be responsible to pay for the devices stating they received them past their window.

Stay away from Spectrum cell phone. I walk in the store for activate new phone, he said, no you do it yourself. Next day, I need help to transfer information to new phone, they don't know how, 4 staff in the store just stand around. Luckily, 1 person said, I will try. Bad customer service. The plan did not save money as I thought. In 3 days I return the phone. They charged $160.00 for re-stocking fee with 1 of these reasons: Cosmetic damage Physical or water damage Device location tracking… or screen lock Your return was received beyond the policy expiration They just sent general reason , did not check mark what was my reason for them to steal $160.00 . I returned new phone did not use how can it got damaged? My credit card is open so they can get as much as they want. That's how they made money for living, liar and rip off , stealing. In 3 days I loose $160.00 plus $49 to activate and tax for the phone. I didn't bother arguing. I know can't win. Just get out and be peace, not worth it to arguing with stealing people. stay far away from Spectrum cell phone. The staff at the store cannot help to activate the new phone. Cannot help to transfer information from my old phone. He said he does not know how. Had a problem resetting password on website. Called them up and fixed it. Girl name Tracy asked did I have a phone and I replied yes. So she said, well you could get a free phone with unlimited minutes for $24. Wow, let me think about... She kept talking... Well I trusted her and signed up. After 2 days I received phone and set it up. The next day I went online to the mobile website and was totally shocked; nothing she said was true. I was hot. I immediately called my old service "Metro&quo…t; and ported my number and service back to them within a hour. Called Spectrum Mobile got the return process going. They received phone in mint condition and charged my credit card $151. I'm Hot, again. I brought and received a case and screen protector the day before I received this over priced galaxy a20 for $230. I usually do my research first but they got me. I will be canceling their internet as soon as I find another service. So glad I cut the cord and their over priced cable tv 8 years ago. Everybody I come across will hear my story. Bought the phones, tried for 2 weeks to cancel. Cust svc cannot unlock phones. 8 calls to 8 agents (no success) RIPOFF

I'm currently paying $240 a month for 2 phones... Not a big deal. But I recently received an email stating that my phones would be shut off in two days if I couldn't make my payment in full. Due to a recent car accident and having to pay my deductible, I no longer had the funds in my account to pay my cell phone bill but... I did have the funds on my credit cards. But I would have to use two separate cards to make the payment. When I tried to make the payment, I was told that they coul…d only accept one card and if I couldn't cover the entire payment utilizing just one card, that my phones would be shut off. What kind of crap is that??? I can go to any other service provider in my area and make multiple payments using multiple cards and there's no problem. It shouldn't matter how you make your payment as long as the payment is made. Never mind the fact that I have an excellent payment history with spectrum... I'm half tempted to switch back to my previous carrier and pay more, at least I didn't have to deal with this BS. Spectrum, "You Suck!"Show more

I had been a Verizon customer for 20 years and had transferred my home phone number in New Jersey to my cell phone. Even after moving to Florida, I kept that number and I wasn’t sure if Verizon would let the number be transferred to a different carrier. The customer service rep told me if I had my Verizon login and password he could port the number and he did. Service has been great and my data has been under a gig a month so my bill has been $14. Even on a trip to the New York/New Jersey metr…o region I had great service. If you have Spectrum internet you should definitely consider Spectrum mobile.Show more

I switched from T-Mobile to Spectrum 6 months ago. they quoted me 110$ for 2 phone on unlimited. when the bill came it was 680$. because they charged me PER GIG. WTF. After i called and complained they waived it after cali g nack 3 times and talking to 10 different people. then my true bill for unlimited turned to 190$ i was paying 140$ at t-mobile & been with them for over 10 years. i switched to “save money” & now im in a bigger hole. i tried cancelling the first month but they di…dnt want to take back the phones & wanted me to pay them off so i can cut them. WHAT.. you guys lied to me thats why im in this situation. ive been waiting for a call back for 3 months now & every time i call they tell me that there is a long wait time & they will eventually call me. Spectrum Mobile employees called me twice before I switched my service. They pitched the service as cheap and that I wouldn't have to pay any cancellation fees to my previous provider when I switched services. Lies! Tryin to fix the situation with the customer service rep I am being called a liar over and over. Pure crap. Stay away from these people! They are worst than the door-to-door vendors.

I had a nightmare with phones, got 1 activated, 1 no data, worst customer service I ever had. Making me pay for phones, cancelling service, telling everyone and posting everywhere to stay away. Better off paying double than dealing with these jerks.

Spectrum will only help you with mobile phone service on the phone. Well, what if your phone service isn't working? A HA!! You have to call. Idiots. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!
