Is Spectrum Mobile phone service any good?

NO WAY to contact once they cost you your phone #

Absolutely horrible! They LIED to me - said I'd still be able to call them even if my activation failed. WRONG. Now I am totally without a phone!

they wont let me cancel

Spectrum mobile support is absolutely garbage, my daughter broke her phone and i tried to get a replacment. I have been running around between the local store and calling for a week to get 0 help. So today i decided im done with it, but spectrum wont let me cancel my service. I went to the store to cancel, and they asled me to leave, after an officer came they finally gave the officer an internal number to call 1-833-631-1950. Seemed nice a person ansers right away, but of course they just put you on hold for 20+ min and since I'm using Spectrum mobile I cant keep a call that long, and rather then call me back they mark the issue resolved. How do I know? Because I get an automated response telling me it was resolver and asking if id like to leave a review. I still have there shit service, and im about to cancel the card they bill too, and just let it play out naturally.

Customer Service Dept is CLUELESS

We have a phone we bought through them and it is almost paid off. It is horribly cracked and broken, so we bought a new phone off the shelf at Best Buy to replace it with. Have literally called 9 times and visited the brick and mortar store 3 times. We still have not been able to transfer the service over. It is ALWAYS a different reason why we can't do it. We have spent HOURS on the phone with them, only to be transferred and transferred and told they couldn't do it. Crazy CRAZY frustrating. Even Supervisors don't seem to know enough (or care?) to get the problem fixed.

Mentally deficient customer reps

After many hrs talking to multiple customer service reps, ordered 2 new phones and requested keeping our numbers. Turns out they sent wrong phones and were going to switch one of the phone numbers. Called rep and after an hr were disconnected. So we are sending phones back and doing a chargeback on amex and staying far away from Spectrum mobile. They also lied when they quoted us on trade in of old phones.

Everything about Spectrum mobile is terrible.

I was going to convert from ATT to Spectrum. I went to the Spectrum store in Arnold, Mo. and found the people there didn't have a clue what they were doing. I made 5 trips back and forth from Spectrum to ATT because the Spectrum people weren't competent enough to do the conversion, and their excuse was it wasn't their responsibility. All they wanted to do is absolutely nothing. I finally asked them to restore my phone back to ATT and there was nothing on my phone, so I went back to ATT for the 6th time and they were able to restore my contacts and no other data at that time. SPECTRUM MOBILE LEFT ME HUNG OUT TO DRY!

Customer service takes minimum 2 hours

Worst. Customer service only knows to pass calls to another. Waiting 30 minutes each call. Said they will fix my issue but next day I need to callback for same thing.

Cuatomer Service and entire process

Firstly, they only accepted certain Samsung and IPhone devices. You cannot use any unlocked device, secondly, you can’t pay your bill whenever you want to, t has to be auto deducted from your account so if you need to pay earlier you can’t, and customer service is the worst

Switched from Verizon. Saving $70/mo. Great service, easy switching, easy auto-pay.

I hope spectrum gets sued and goes out buisness for being so inadequate for doing their job.

They are incompetent.

They authorized payments on my card that I did not authorize them. They screwed with phones by putting my dads number on my phone. When I call or go in to fix this either no one is available or they do not know how. Terrible.

The customer service

The person that answer the phone today looks like he was high on weed, it was like a joke, it seems like they don’t care been there at all and is so frustrating as a customer you are paying money for service to be treated this way, they should hire much better people, service slow, poor connection, please don’t switch you will regret it sooooooo much to the point that you will become depress, I went back to sprint and I don’t regret it at all, it was the best decision I ever made

As a spectrum mobile customer I never had internet service while outside and I continued to get billed once I terminated service.

WORST EFFING SERVICE IN HISTORY.

Worst experience ever. The absolute worst. Spectrum is a joke. I called six times and got a different excuse each time telling me why my sim card was late. A guy on the phone told me to go to a store to get my sim. the nearest store was an hour away. Went there, said they dont do sim cards at a store.... so I went home and called spectrum again. The lady on the phone laughed and said I don't know why he would send you to the store! I was on hold for 3 hours just to get a refund. I was switched from department to department because spectrum is a real scam, they didnt want to give my money back. What a joke. You suck spectrum

Out 200 only got refunded 13dollars

Mobile sucks no one helps only took my money!!! We are in a pandemic and I got charged for a phone that overheated 50 for opening package. Refund only 13 per phone out of 200 dollars and wasnt even offered insurance for damm phone

We switched from T Mobile and were able to upgrade phones and save money. Coverage has been great. Switched to By The Gig plan and it has been great! Our phone bill went down significantly with this plan.

Sure they use Verizon towers, but the service flat out sucks in most places. The first week or so was great then, something happened. At work, or in the breakroom, I get little to no signal (the first week was fine). Standing outside, my mobile internet drops to 3G or even 1x, and I literally can not open anything at all. I work just outside a major city in Wisconsin, and the coverage is supposed to be great....yeah not so much

worst service ever phone broke right at the one year warranty and they refused to replace it.....cant pay your bill before the due date and the customer service reps know nothing stick with cable phone service is not for you idiots
