Is Spectrum Mobile phone service any good?
Their customer service is the WORST!
I spent 14 hours over 9 different phone calls attempting to get my old mobile account deleted so I could see my new account when I log in but to no avail. They have very poor communication, professional manner on the phone. Beware.

They have very bad connections I'm a truck driver And I can prove it, customer service is Also not professional, they are bunch of idioots and they don't want to help you with anything, they always transfer you to the wrong department, and you never get to the right place , even if you wonna cancel the subscription with them, I never had such a bad experience with those idioots Never even think to switch with them , because they are scammers my cell is 419 973 1547 I can explain e…verything I'm simple truck driver and i can explain everything.....

This was the worst decision we made! I hope no one goes through this. We were told our mobile service was going to be unlimited and the phone we were given would only cost us around $40 . We agreed because the monthly payment was going to be pretty cheap. We then found out that the phones we were given actually were gonna cost us $147 and that the mobile service was not free and every gb that we went over it will cost us $14. Worst decision ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Pls go to another carrier oth…er than spectrum mobile !
Service, coverage, and billing.
A plethora of problems. Do not move to Spectrum as tho they 'might' use Verizon towers, if you have any issues with coverage (such as at our home) Spectrum has NO options to improve coverage. We were quoted the wrong price on the phones. Took 2 months to get it resolved and it still isn't right - tho hopefully by the next bill. Very poor coordination between departments. Had to go to BBB to get things fixed as much as they did. I am paying very little....but have phones with poo…r reception (this w/ new S10e's) versus our older phones (an S4 and a Galaxy Pixel) when we were on Verizon.
WORST COMPANY
Spectrum does a TERRIBLE job at Cable TV, an even worse job with Internet. You would be an absolute fool to trust them with your cell service too. AVOID.
Great savings, seamless transition from old phone
My brother took the leap from Verizon to Spectrum Mobile with his own phone and it was seamless. I used my own Google Pixel 3 phone, transitioned from Verizon seamlessly, have been through two billing cycles - thrilled with the savings. Had a few dropped calls, but no other problems with voice or texts. Read all instructions and fine print, so had no need for customer support.

I recently ordered their mobile plan with phones included. After thinking it through I decided to cancel the order within the hour. I called to cancel but I was told it was too early and I need to wait 6 hours. Well I called again in 6 hours and was told I need a tracking number to cancel, which I did not have yet. Once I had the tracking number I called back, but now its too late to cancel, and I have to send the phones back to them upon receipt. Well a week later and they have received their p…hones but I have to wait for them to inspect the phones for damage before I get a refund...the phones I never received but went from them to FedEx to back. Worst company ever and their mobile service will fail.

Price (especially for international travel)
Love! Had two lines with Verizon as that's all that services where I live and it was EXPENSIVE. Switched to by-the-gig for both and my bill is literally $28-$56. We wanted to switch earlier, but the international plans were not good. They are very good now and we are very, very pleased. Same service as Verizon, just new sim card and much less money is how we see it. :)

I don’t like being forced to have auto pay. If I would have known the service is auto pay only I would not have signed up.

The best way to describe their reliability is a text message I created: "I'm sorry but if I answer your call, Spectrum will drop it."

Switched from Verizon on positive reviews from a credible major consumer product review magazine. Shipping was problematic. You HAVE to be home to sign for your package. Once I finally got it, changeover from old phone and service (old iPhone SE to new iPhone SE) was without a glitch. So far everything works, have yet to drop a call from moving vehicle or otherwise, syncs right up with my car. So far so good and saving some bucks.
The cost
Once I set up service I realize that my caller ID is never displayed on the phone of the person I am calling. It just says "wireless caller."
Great Customer Service
I don't know why everyone is saying they have terrible customer service... I honestly have been very satisfied with the help they were able to give. I think unfortunately people who have negative experiences are the first to write a review. Sad.

Horrible customer service and company practices, I was a mobile customer for little over 2 years in which I paid my bill on time the entire time I was with them. Just a few days ago my service was interrupted and when I called in about it they wanted to charge me $45 to reactivate my service from a mistake they allowed to happen. Instead of the company realizing the mistake and making things right, they forced me to take my business else where for $45 they didn't want to waive. If you'…re considering Spectrum mobile please reconsider because they don't care about loyal customers.

I ordered a Gold iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb A few days ago they wait two days to charge my card then refund it and charge it again now they saying am going have to wait to be verified again for the second time and it gonna be a two week wait for me to get the phone I’ve done talked to 8 or 9 different people all telling me different stuff no one no’s what there talking about and all the reps was very rude and acted as if they had better things todo and was very quick to end the call not how bus…iness should be done I will be canceling my order and internet and tv service with them and going somewhere else I recommend anyone else to do the same this company does not no how to give good customer service or train there employees properly

Litterly the worst customer support team you can imagine, changing plans as i write this to verizon or att getting quoted now. Do not wast your time, you will switch carriers within 6 months.
