Is Spectrum Mobile phone service any good?

Wifi, no need for large data package.

Former Sprint customer, paying $103 a month. I couldn't even get a signal 75% of the time. With Spectrum I pay $80 for 2 lines ,1G of data but didn't even need it since wifi is available at home and work! So glad I switched, and got new S9 phones in that price!!

had service for 3 days and shut it off because of there customer service returned phones to the store and the have pulled over $500 HUNDRED OUT OF MY ACCT every time u call to try to resolve the problem u get some kind of run around

Can't sign up, too stupid

3 weeks we've been trying. We have spectrum in our house already. They are not smart enough to let me sign up for spectrum mobile. Impossible to get them to let me sign up.

Cheaper. Great coverage. Good phone plans.

One phone call and in less then 15 min. had plan set up and phone was delivered in three days

you can only pay your bill through auto-pay

I hate the fact that you can only pay your bill through auto-pay. My checking account was comprised and I tried paying my bill at the spectrum store, walmart and even offer to mail it in. They refused, so my phone was turned off!! have you ever heard of a cellular company having only one way to pay a bill? That is ridiculous!!!

Their billing, when they mess up they dont own it

I needed to move my payment by 1 day because my check was messed up and they couldn't move my payment 1 day so I wouldnt get a finance charge through my bank. They also messed up our account and finally after about 4 hours and 5 people later they got it fixed but only with credits next month so we still had to pay $ 352!!!!!! Not impressed right now I hope they step up their game

customer service

tried 3 times to sign up even after agreeing to purchase there over priced phone

not able to get on any hotspots, no visual vm

I got my service mid-January and have been waiting over three weeks for my tech support ticket to be addressed. Very long hold times, first line reps do not know anything at all, have to give a ticket and no one ever addresses it. Supervisor didn't care, just said they're backed up. I said they need to hire more people and she insisted it had nothing to do with how many people they had, it had to do with too many outstanding tickets. This is the mindset of a supervisor there. If anything goes wrong you are all on your own.

They are the worst mobile company

I called around December to upgrade my internet and tv service the sales lady told me that spectrum now have noble service and it’s cheaper then my T-Mobile which it was not true anyway my first bill $372 and when I called them the soul called supervisor name Wylie ID# 2765220 was very rudely and awful. I can’t switch because I have contacts with them do not switch to spectrum mobile they’re terrible and very bad customer service I don’t know they are employees from

Won't let you bring your own phone

Buying a new phone quickly overtakes the savings.

They don't tell you the cost of the phones

I feel misrepresented. They didn't inform me how much the phones would cost orvthat I had 30 to cancel and not be charged for the phones.

Can't import any Android phone, even Verizon's

Existing Spectrum customer; had to call to find any relative information, only to find can't import existing Android phones; also don't offer Mobile Protection in NY. VERY LONG hold time for customer service (no surprise) and reps aren't much help.

The customer services agents are lairs

I have been trying to get my phone sent back to me for two weeks now, I wanted to swap my phone within my 30 day period, I went back to the store to swap phones and was to I had to ship the phone to the warehouse evrn though I purchased the phone from the store, I made r trips to the store to swap the phone(didn't happen), mobile agent told me that I would gave to ship my phone (didn't make sense) but I received a shipping label and shipped my phone, now I'm catching hell trying to get my phone back, I've been told one lie after another, the only reason I'm trying not to go to another provider is because I want to keep my #. This swapping phone crap has been going on with me for over a month now and I'm still been billed for a service I have not used on almost 3wks

They bring me false information about the plan.

They sell me the phone and service with the wrong information. I just lost $167. And know when I call to ask for explanation or investigation nobody know who I can contract. Very frustrated service. I sad I been years with this company.

3-5 days to get them to call to return deflective

Overall ok. I do not know if they are actually going to call me within 3-5 days to get my deflective phone replaced. New iphone7 with 32GB could not connect to internet. Took a whole day of troubleshooting with Spectrum technicians to figure that out. If I could actual get new good phone, probably, this would be a 5 star rating for them.

Customer service

Trying to port 2 numbers to Spectrum. Was told at the store that I could only purchase a new phone online but could bring in a current device to be activated at the store. Purchased the new device and activated it. Went back to the store and they tell me they can't activate the other phone. They are telling me I have to buy another new phone. Their advertising clearly says you can bring in your own device. I feel like I'm being held hostage to buy another phone No one at the store or with customer service can tell me why this is happening.

Service limited to I-95 corridor; not much else.

US Cellular covers all of Maine; Spectrum rides on Verizon towers; coverage spotty, cost significant. A year from now you'll be sorry.

there costumer service is terrible

been the most unpleasant experience costumer service is lees than now im being charge for phones and service I don't have When asked to talk to a supervisor said it would be 72 working hrs?? AReally????

They sold my phone number to telemarketers

I have a very private number. Only 5 people knewof that number. Once I transferred it to spectrum (rectum) I began to receive calls from solicitors both day and night. To daye in one month's time I have received 49 verifiable calls that were spam!

Billing & Customer service

CS has no idea what they are doing. First 2 bills had charges that were added and no one could explain why those charges were not reflected on app, online statement or email reminders. First bill they tried to charge me additional $600 for a phone that was returned 1 week after receiving. No one could explain why I received email saying phone had been returned and restocked but the phone was charged to account. Spent a total of 5 hours with different reps and supervisor before that was handled but not before they shut off service on both lines. Second bill showed additional $55 the was not listed in bill break down or shown in data usage on app. Rep advised that it was for data overage but was unable to provide any answers as to why I was not notified via email (have alerts setup to notify my when I hit 1 GB) why I couldn't see it in app or through website. She gave me no answers but had a supevisor call me back with no answers. She said several times "I don't know why you can't see that" "I can't send you anything that shows there was a data overage" "I don't know"....I think its safe to say she doesn't know. Horrible! If I hadn't sold our straighttalk phones already I would cancel service and head right bk to them. I would not recommend this service to anyone and as soon as I can find myself and my daughter a phone to take to ST I will be leaving.
