Conned me into signing a new contract for a “special” discount with no changes. Lost all services until I added back what my “special” discount deleted. Basically scammed me to get under a new contract as mine had expired.
Now they’ve moved TCM to a friggin sports package for an additional $9.99/month.
Would never recommend this company.
Once your “ bundled plan” expires you find out you can get another one even cheaper. Such crap. Why don’t they pro rate their plan at the time it became cheaper? They certainly waste no time jacking the fees whimsically during the “ contract time”. Lack of competition helps them immensely. Otherwise, they would sharpen their customer service skills, employ skilled and accommodating service techs and allow us to ala carte the features we want. Stop the double talk and promo deals/ packages that come out of your corporate skull factory! And stop calling us “ valued customers “ when we are not treated that way!!
Hate them so much, no valid options otherwise since they control the cable lines. You cannot reasonably find out what you should be paying. They nickle and dime you. You try to save on bill by cutting service, and they jack up their minimal service costs so it looks like you are losing out on a lot for very little savings. Screw them, dishonest company.
They raised my bill by $35. Very few channels included. Looking for other options.
Comcast/Xfinity is not a good internet provider. There’s high speed plans at decent prices and bundles reduce price. Too bad their service is often down/slow and you don’t get the speeds you pay for. One time, we had insane issues and went through like 8 of their routers before buying a NETGEAR router which worked flawlessly (compared to their router, still didn’t fix the speed issues). At least you get full speed in the middle of the night. Literally can’t even use the WiFi so posting on data
Each time come to end of contract prices for less go up dramatically. I am going to cut the cord if it happens this time. No Senior should be paying for 100 channels they don’t watch.
I called them and the internet speed went up to where it should be. The next day it was back down below the speed it should be. I called and complained and they hung up
The price keeps going up for channels we don't need. How about a little cost reduction for all your LOYAL customers? Aren't we the ones that keep you in business, at least for now?
Every summer I have to fight to get my service on seasonal numerous calls all summer I make they do not credit for overcharging
Contact Comcast regarding a spike in my bill. After ending call, 3 channel had been removed and I was switch to a different plan unbeknownst to me. With the new package I was informed that my savings was $1.00 and the removal of 3 channel that could not be restored because of a dispute with these channel. Now what since does that make to charge a customer more and compensate them with fewer channel all because I inquired about a roughly amount of $25 dollar increase to my bill. Looks like I was penalized for questioning Comcast, ha! Needless to say, I want no part in their wrong doing and this concludes my business with them.
Have been a long time Comcast customer. Can tell you the bang for the buck is gone. I have now gone from X1 preferred 240 channels at $160 total with fees to X1 Starter triple play for $128 total with fees. 140 Standard Def channels stink. No HD anywhere for $128 per mth. Hope to move on to another Company soon. How can a cable company still want to show SD programming? End play is get a streaming internet TV programs under no contract and save money and get HD channels along with choises of channels to watch.
Signed a two year contract to lock in price. Two months later, they increased fees. Last week they removed channels from my package but I can get them back for additional $12.99 per month. Tried to cancel and they told me I had to pay a cancellation fee. Buyer beware!!!
Signed a contract for a couple of years of service. During that time the rates have been raised, more fees added AND loss of channels. Total BS, looking for another providor. No loyal customer benefits at all.
I Had xfinity at home and was very happy with the service. When we opened a business we decided to go with Comcast (Xfinity) Business. The comcast business sales rep told us it would be a 2 year contract but if we needed to terminate early, they do allow early termination without any penalty. We moved our business one block away and the comcast installation professional asked me to sign a document authorizing him to install the service. I did so. Now, due to a medical emergency we have had to close our business and need to move to another state where Comcast does not offer service. I contacted the sales rep who gave me a phone number to call to cancel the service. I did so, but was informed that when I relocated the business, the document I signed was a new contract for three years and no option to early terminate. I am now being charged over $1700 to terminate my "contract". The sales rep even admitted that he told me I could terminate the contract early without penalty, but they don't care. They just want the money. Please, please, do not do business with Comcast. They are very dishonest thieves.
I've had Comcast for over 30 years because back then they were the only game in town. Their prices constantly go up with the quality of programming going down. Music channels, channels counted more than once, sports fees, (I have never watched sports on TV in my life), overseas 'customer service', etc etc Adding up the cost for 30+ years is immense - can a long term customer get a 'deal' - the answer is a big fat NO.
over seas customer service reps and language barriers
I have Digital Preferred. Price keeps going up and programming goes down. More and more stations 50 year old reruns, insipid realty shows and Hispanic and other non-English (I'm told that's what I get for "Basic".) Generally, I have about 10 programs I can watch -- all for a mere $130 per month.
Turned me in to collections 6 days after i cancelled my services. Was paid up, they told me to wait till i got my final bill than pay it off. Turned me in 6 days later, even BEFORE i got my bill.
Customer service is located outside of USA and speak poor English
been with Comcast on 3 separate occasions. They have gotten better given the large loss of customers. Improvement is still needed
A friend recommended Comcast to me but I was worried about all the negative comments I read. I called them up and had a lovely sales rep who talked me through a great package at a great price.
Amazing service. When I moved someone was round with a couple of days to install everything and the service was up and running immediately.

I love Comcast, but it is very expensive which is the only bad thing. If you can afford it though I would recommend them as the X1 box is the best out there. Much better then the equipment from my previous provider.
I've known a few people, including myself, who have had problems with the service from Comcast. However the speed and professionalism of the support team to fix any problems are excellent. There are always issues when technology is concerned so surely its the speed in which they can be resolved which counts!! Great service Comcast!
The packages from Comcast are pretty expensive compared to other providers, but I love them and plus you get a great service.
Thanks to the rep in the complaints handling department my opinion has changed. Having had a few issues with comcast I sent a complaint by email and by the next day I had a phone call with a very helpful and professional rep who handled all of my issues efficiently and promptly. No more problems here!

I had Direct TV and never had the problems I have with comcast. I live in the city and have continual problems with my picture going out!! This is unexceptional! !
Never had an problem need more channels that people want
The worst customer service I have experienced. They don't know what they are talking about and they cannot answer even the simplist questions.
When signing up with Xfinity I was given a date for installation which has since been cancelled and rescheduled 3 times! When finally it was installed there was a problem with the signal, so the engineer had to come back 2 days later with a part to get the tv working. So far i've had no problem with the tv service itself, but with the troubles of installation I feel it's only a matter of time.
Comcast is a crook! I have had Comcast for YEARS recently I moved... Prior to moving I used there "handy" moving site and input my address... Boom I "have service" I sign my papers, go to make my service appointment and am told they dont provide service to my area. I look closer, they were autopopulating another address! when i call to have my early terminiation fee wavied I was tranferred for over 2 hours, hung up on (or the call "dropped") 3 times. I was told there is nothign I can do, I signed up. Thats BS. Ive been a customer for years! What does loyality get you these days.... NOTHING. I didnt want to leave comcast, but now I wont go back. Too many other options with no contracts. $ 800 for early termination! I pay less then that a year for service. I will report them everywhere I can and make people aware. They arent the only provider and I wont go back.
Whenever I have had technical issues with Xfinity, there is always someone out within a day and they fix the issue, no problems, the tech support are also very friendly and professional and I can't highly recommend them enough of internet. Great prices and an even better service.
My internet speed from Xfinity is slower than dial up!!!! For what I pay for my interent service the speed is a complete joke. Waste of time signing up with this company.
I've been with Xfinity for just over a year now and they may be one of the best at not losing signal, but I think that's all they've got going for them. I want to go back to Directv, I never havd any issues and the support was the best. Xfinity often over charge each month and it automatically comes out of bank, so we have to call them every few months and find out what is going on and often the customer agents are rude. As soon as we can cancel our service without a charge we will be going back to Directv.
Signing up to a bundle you expect to get what is advertised, well not with Xfinity. My installation was supposed to be free, but they have charged me for it and when I spoke to customer services they told me they were unable to refund it and I must have read it wrong as installation is not free. I signed up for the Triple play, so I have gone for one of the more expensive packages in the first place and after 5 months they have increased my payments by $40! I can't wait till I can move providers.
I've been with Comcast/Xfinity for years and I have never had any problems with them. Whenever I've had to call them the customer service team have always been friendly and are always helpful, they even offer my deals occasionally, so they really look after their current customers and do not just care about bringing in new ones like many other companies out there.
